"Great Xmas Break In A Great Hotel"
We came here because of the location and value for money of the hotel and we were extremely happy to stay here for a week in winter. The check in was a bit slow due to the queues but went smoothly. The hotel itself was really nice and clean and modern. The rooms were really nice clean aswell with plenty of space and over looking the town so we had great views aswell and had no trouble sleeping either. The beach was a 10 minute walk and plenty of really good bars, restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel, we couldn't have asked for a better location. The breakfast was average and don't know what lunch and dinner was like as we ate out all the time. There was a famers market across the road with a square that people would go to have a drink for the festive season and was great fun. Ps the room had really good wifi connection.
"Excellent base for a one week stay"
The hotel provides all your requirements for a comfortable and quiet nights stay. Good clean accommodation at a very reasonable price. The buffet breakfast at 8 euros is well worth the money. The hotel situation is ideal for discovering the town. Could not fault it will come again.
"Twin beds pushed together - cause of great laughs! "
The hotel is in a great location for exploring Alicante, directly opposite the Mercado, and near to the main shopping district. The beach and marina is approx a five minute walk. We flew into Alicante airport and got a taxi to the hotel, which was €25, but it was after midnight, so could be cheaper earlier than this. There are bus stops outside the hotel which travel to the airport. The welcome in the hotel was not particularly friendly, probably due to language difficulties, and I do feel more information could have been offered to us as new tourists to the area. I agree with other reviewers who have said that this hotel is more of a business hotel than a tourist one - But you know what' That's what I actually liked about it! It was quiet and calming, and extremely clean. The only downside was that we had booked a double room and received a twin room with the beds pushed together. I don't know if this is what every double room is like however. The beds weren't even strapped together, and as myself and my husband are wrigglers, my husband actually slipped down between the two beds one night - Cue hysterical laughing in the middle of the night! I suppose we could have complained and seen if there were other rooms, but our limited Spanish would have prevented it really! The room was reasonably well equipped, with an expensive mini bar available with soft drinks and beer. No tea or coffee, and no iron - however I asked for an iron one evening and had it delivered the next morning at 7am.... which got us up early for exploring Alicante! We had breakfast the first morning in the hotel which was ok ..... but we preferred exploring the local cafes and sampling different things each day, for the same price. There are so many different cafes, bars and restaurants in Alicante it would be a shame to have the same hotel breakfast every single day. To sum up, an extremely clean hotel, ideally located for exploring the whole of Alicante. We are already planning our return - but I'd ask to see if they had an actual double bedded room next time!
Warm welcome from check in to check out. Clean, comfortable room with no late night disturbance. Centrally located with some great restaurants and tapas bars close by. Loved this hotel and will use it again.
This place is a good choice to stay in alicante for business or pleasure The hotel is very nice and the staff is very hopeful courteous for the price I think it is very good the only downside to it we could not control the air conditioning and some nights it was to hot we had to sleep on top of the bed The breakfast was good to and we would stop there again
