"Location and High standard"
It's not a cheap hotel compare to other hotels in the area/ but still it's good value for the money It's have prime location near Rambla , shopping district , Harbor and beach , couldn't be better The staff are very helpfull, nice and service minded / thanks for that Hotel is modern, and room are nice and comfortable, cleaning is good / and breakfast is very plentifull , and very cheap at 8 euro Only minor negative thing is, there a noise from the street during the night at level 2 there we stay, and another thing was one of the lift was out of order all 5 days, and the hotel was fully booked We will come gladly back
"OK Location but Poor Standards of customer service"
We stayed here for 4 nights as a group of friends visiting this lovely city and would have been much happier with the hotel if only the 2'nd lift was working and the staff were a little bit more forthcoming in dealing with issues. Our air conditioning was faulty on 2 floors and despite contacting the front desk they would not get back to us with information resulting in us having to chase them, I accepth things do go wrong from time to time but I also believe that people are far more tolerant to such inconvenience if kept informed. The Hotel itself was a very good location and the levels of cleanliness and such like was generally very good.
"clean and modern hotel in a central location"
stayed here for 2 nights on business. it's clean, modern and comfortable and only 5 mins from the promenade. Friendly and professional staff. good selection of buffet items for breakfast and nice too.
"Big letdown "
Having just returned from a four day break at the 4 star Eurostar Lucentum I can only say how disappointed we are. In our opinion this is not a four star hotel rather a modest 3. The bedroom and bathroom would probably get 4 if there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and no bad smell in the bathroom as the decor is very tasteful. Check in was very slow with only 1 person on duty answering phone calls and dealing with queries as well as checking in guests. Most surprising, there is no bar as such only a 'counter' where you can buy bottled beer and wine which is not on show but underneath somewhere in a fridge! Really wired. This arrangement is only open in the evening for a few hours. Breakfast was a bit of a joke one person doing all jobs or trying to, tables not cleared, the hot water for making tea trickled out of a fancy urn type thing that took ages, the toasting machine although brand new took ages also, by the time you had cobbled together a breakfast it was cold. The choice also was not very good and the person checking your name and room number on entering made you feel almost criminal, like you should not be there. We have stayed in lots of 4 and 5 star accommodation but cannot imagine how Eurostars have gained their 4 accolade
"Really!' 4 stars'"
Well didn't give the whole hotel a good look really. Bit if quick stop at Alicante, so admittedly we were out more than in. All cleanliness was good.room wasnt very big, bathroom was dark. But the views from room were good. We could see the caslte light up at night, its lovely. The bathroom ameneties were basic for a 4 star hotel and i wouldnt of liked to take a bath in there.bed was comfy and great choice of pillows. Not the best of sound proofing between rooms. And we never tried the breakfast, because of some mix up with the booking.. Which we werent hapoy aboit as we paid the full price as advertised. But we never got the breakfast offered to us. And then we would of had to pay for it. So we didn't. Staff on the desk... Soso. Had better, had worse. So if its as a holiday stay, its good enough value and location is spot on. But definitely no good for business hotel or if u want a high class hotel.
