"Their restaurant is awful!"
Just dreadful! The paella was not cooked, there was lots of crunchy rice in it, it looked unappetizing and it was tasteless! The garlic has lingered on in my mouth though, yuk! The pizza was extremely ordinary as well. We won't be back!
"Small but clean room; great location"
The hotel is right next to the Church-Mosque. It is right in the thick of the action! You can walk from the hotel to any of the major attractions. The room was comfortable & clean but a little small. Service was surly but efficient. The reception area staff were helpful when assistance was requested. The breakfast staff was very surly and made sure to remind us that breakfast ended right on the dot at 10am, and that we could not stay one minute after. If you are looking for a hotel at a great location, this is the hotel to pick! P.S. Our rental car GPS brought us round and round the little town without actually bringing us to the hotel. We went round the city for about an hour before we used my phone's Google Maps to find the hotel eventually. Do NOT use the local GPS system to find the hotel!
"Horrible experience! Left earlier."
This hotel was a horrible experience. It's well located in the middle of the Jewish quarter next to the Mesquita. But that is where the advantages stop. The rooms are dated with really small beds. The wifi doesn't always work and the staff is not friendly or helpful. However the biggest discomfort is the horrible noise inside the hotel. Everyday and every night there were people shouting, running, telephoning, slamming doors, etc in the hallways. The rooms are so badly isolated, we could literally hear every move of the people in the next rooms. And in the early mornings we were abruptly wakened by the staff that was cleaning the rooms or setting the breakfast/ dinner area with a lot of noise. The discomfort was so bad, we decided to leave the hotel after 3 nights even tough we'd booked for more.
"Couldn't fault this hotel"
Spent 2 nights here early in September. Couldn't fault it. The location is perfect, just a few paces from the Mezquita. The room was lovely. View of a roof but that didn't matter. The bed was comfy and there was no noise at night. The bathroom was well equipped with a good shower. Lovely little courtyard in the hotel and a pleasant café. Didn't have breakfast included in our room price but had the breakfast buffet on our 2nd morning. Only 7 euros each. Was excellent. Fresh juices, cereals, breads, ham, salami, cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, yoghurts....need I go on'! All in all, an excellent stay. Highly recommend this hotel.
Nice surprise. We got a room at the ground floor, and first, we worried about the noise ... Well, it was perfect... No noise, good working air conditioning, good breakfast, excellent staff. ... and, not the last: location! Just across The Mezquita. We enjoyd every moment...
