"What a fabulous Hotel in the most beautiful setting! "
Although a quiet month in Jan the Hoyle was truly spectacular. The views accords the ocean were breath taking from the bar and the service from the staff 1st class. The world renowned Nobu restaurant on site was out of this world! The hotel is also ideally placed on the "hairpin" for the Grand Prix F1 and within easy walking distance to the harbour and Casino square. The rooms were really comfortable and well equipped and the free wine and water was a nice touch.
After so many years we tried another hotel but fairmont is different..apprecation from the hotel staff..very kindly..nicky s beach at the swimming pool is not my favorite.. but all the rest is 100 % ok
I have stayed there for the last two F1 races a great location right in the centre of all the action, make sure you take your credit card and make sure it is a black one!! you will need it 14 euros for two cups of coffee in take away cups
"A legend in Monaco"
I've been in this Hotel for a Meeting last month. I already knew this hotel for the casino, the Nobu restaurant and the magnificent Nikki beach inside. The room was wide, with the view on the casino. Minus: -The style was ok but could be renewed as it is a little bit too much 80's-90's style. -The corridors are very long and if you are unlucky your room door will be very far from the elevator. Plus: -rooftop with Nikky beach -Nobu restaurant inside with the breakfast served in the same tables of Nobu with an amazing view on the seaside in the morning -Casino and Buddha Bar a couple of meters far from -very kind receptionist, voituriers and assistants.
"Great location, reasonable price, but room lighting needs an upgrade!"
After a 10-night Mediterranean cruise, my husband and I booked two nights here to see Monaco and to tour several villages in the area. Although we had recently stayed at one of the waterfront Fairmont Hotels in Vancouver, we didn't sign up for the Fairmont President's Club, which offers upgrades and amenities at even the lowest level. We really should have joined because we knew that we would have neither a water nor "hairpin turn" view when we booked a standard "Fairmont" room. Room # 6041 has a balcony that faces inward to a grassy area with some kind of construction or nonworking fountain in the middle. The price for a two-night stay was much lower than comparable hotels. I'm guessing that it's because this Fairmont has a large number of rooms to fill. Also, the rooms need more and working electrical plugs, and haven't been redecorated in years. The check-in process was very quick, easy and pleasant. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage space. While I appreciate what must be environmentally-friendly lighting throughout the room and bath, it wasn't nearly bright enough to even see colors and gave both the room and bath a very dingy atmosphere. If I had known, I would have either: joined Fairmont's President's Club to get an upgraded room, paid more for a room facing the exterior, or stayed at another hotel! On the positive side, we really enjoyed the location, as it is only a short walk to the Casino. On the "Nikki Beach" level, there's a beautiful walkway along the water that has several large sculptures that also is a short stroll to the main commercial part of Monte Carlo. Although we didn't swim, drink or eat at the rooftop "Nikki Beach" club with bar, we thought that it looked inviting, and the staff was very friendly!
