"Great Family Location"
Fiesta Americana Coral Beach is a great family resort in Cancun with beautiful beach and connecting pools with swim up bars. Great service, I recommend the Grand Level for daily breakfast and lunch included. Variety of restaurants on property - French, Mexican, seafood, sandwich - enough for whole family. Very safe on and off property - have been going for 5 years with no issues.
"NOT and All Inclusive at all."
We visited this hotel for it's location and because it was billed as all inclusive. Nothing could be further than the truth. Eat, pay, drink pay, make coffee in your room, pay, drink a bottle of water in your room, pay, use the exercise facilities, pay. EVERYTHING is for an extra charge. Beautiful hotel and maintained perfectly. But if you're going thinking that it's All Inclusive(as advertised here) your will be upset and disappointed. ...like we were.
All the pictures of this hotel are true. It's really beautiful in a very beautiful place. The views, service, food, pool, ocean, etc. They were cleaning rooms multiple times a day. Very polite maids and other staff. I would love to go there again. The only thing that was bothering me was Wifi that was spotty most of the times. But who needs Wifi there really... maybe sometimes only.
"Just the best..pay up for ocean front room suite!"
Super friendly at the front door every time. Front desk people exceptional. Perfect beach, perfect service, super nice room on 5th floor. Some of the reviews said the rooms were tired. Not in the area called ocean front room by the hotel which really means a direct ocean view rather than at an angle. They call this newer portion "the tower". Right above lobby, restaurants and everything. You need at least the 4th floor to be free of palm trees blocking your ocean view. There are so many pools at this large hotel that it was never too busy. Tip the pool guy $2 and he will find you a chair with umbrella..same with beach or get up early to reserve chair. With kids, the courtyard casual restaurant is the best near the lobby. The food there was fast, over the top high end yet not expensive. Their high end restaurants too expensive with kids for me. Manager of that restaurant made me feel like a VIP every time. Buffet over the top great and 1/2 price or no charge for kids. Transportation: NEVER USE "super shuttle" for airport transportation! Waited for 25 min for their pvt van and finally took a cab to the airport. Stressful! Expedia 100% useless in getting a refund despite my documentation and having the hotel call Super Shuttle after the first 10 min of being late. Order transportation directly on your CC so you can dispute the charge if no show..not through Expedia!
"Fantastic Experience--Highly Recommend"
My husband, 5-year-old daughter and I stayed from December 23rd-29th. My parents and brother's family (including 2.5 year-old and infant) stayed in adjacent rooms. We were all thrilled with our stay. We stayed on the Grand Club level (which I highly recommend, especially if you have young children.) Pros: -Our room was beautiful and spacious. It included a seating area that was perfect for our 5-year-old daughter to claim as "hers." The view was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. Despite being near the staircase (we were in 1029), and adjacent to my brother's room (with 2 small children), we were not at all disturbed by noise. -The Club level amenities were wonderful. The food was healthy and delicious, appealed to everyone, and saved us from having to keep 3 young children waiting for meals. The service was consistent and friendly. -Our 5-year-old *loved* the Kidz Club (and she is usually quite hesitant). The staff were professional, warm, and made me feel quite comfortable leaving her there. They had several activities every day and she was always excited to go back for more. The facility is gorgeous. -The pool never felt crowded even though the resort was full. -I enjoyed my spa treatments and the spa itself is beautiful. Cons: -I can't really think of anything. If I had to choose something, I would say that instead of doing the spa "hydrotherapy" treatment, I would have preferred just using the facilities on my own, but that is a minor criticism. A few tips: -There is a supermarket (kind of like a high-end Target) one block away from the resort. Very handy for buying the things I forgot (children's goggles, flip flops, etc). They also have a nice food-court-like area on the second floor. I didn't get to try it but will next time. -As I mentioned, I highly recommend the Club level, especially if you have small children. -We ate at La Joya and Le Basilic restaurants (within the hotel)--both were very good. -We ate two casual dinners outside of the hotel (within easy walking distance). Mextreme graciously accommodated our party of 9 (including 3 small children) and the food was surprisingly good, though the music was loud. Service was very good. We also ate at Casa Tequila--not as noisy, great service, food was a bit hit or miss but I would try it again. Overall, we had a great trip. We will stay at the Fiesta Americana again, without hesitation.
