"Lovely little hotel"
Just returned after a 3 night stay. Nice peaceful hotel on a side street in a not so touristy part of Rome. Plenty of restaurants nearby but a fair walk to the tourist areas...about 20-30 minutes from Trevi Fountain. Please be aware that if you book a room with a terrace your bedroom will be a lot smaller. Bathroom was a little small in Room 472 and the shower did not drain very well. Breakfast was ok. Selection of meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages (hot dog style), fruit, cereal and cakes.
"Peaceful stay with great local amenities"
Great hotel out of the way of the chaos of the main tourist areas. Rooms are modern but beware - if asking for a terrace, your room will be a lot smaller. Bathrooms are small but still perfectly adequate. Breakfast is average - not many hot options but a good selection of cold meats, breads, and fruit. If you don't mind walking to get to the main tourist attractions this will be fine. However, if walking isn't your thing this hotel isn't for you. It's a good walk to the well known attractions however there are some lesser known spots close by. Some great restaurants nearby - Bella Napoli round the corner is a must! A nice little hotel.
"Lovely little Gem"
This was our first time to Rome and after searching for a clean but decent place in rome we ended up booking Hotel Fiume. Did not regret it at all. Very close to Termini station which in turn connects you to all the tourist locations. The hotel was always clean and perfect looking. We have stayed in some flashy hotels in the past, but i have to say the room service in this room tops all of them, hands down. Breakfast always had fresh produce and the hot food was tasty as well. The lift is a tad bit small and slow however just use the stairs when your not lugging your suitcase around. Very Happy with our stay !!
"Amazing hotel! Would definitely visit again! "
My boyfriend and I visited Rome for a long weekend at the start of September and we were very excited to stay in this hotel as it has lots to offer and it didn't disappoint! We stayed in a standard room which was perfect for us! Very clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and a good start to the day before a long day of walking and visiting attractions. Location was good, around a 10 minute walk to via Veneto where there were some lovely restaurants and bars! Also a few nice restaurants just down the road from the hotel. To visit the main attractions you may want to get a taxi depending on where you are going. Some attractions like the Spanish steps are about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and Trevi fountain about 20 to 25 minutes from the hotel. All in all we were very happy with our stay and would happily stay here again!
"Good hotel "
We stayed at the Fiume while we were in Rome. Even though the hotel is not close to any of the sights, it is close to 2 bus lines and a train station. The staff is great and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. Breakfast was good. Will make eggs upon request. The only problem we had was the bathroom-the water did not drain causing a pool in it. Other than that, no complaints!
