"Romantic weekend for two"
Have seen my fare share of hotels and this is great one. Located in a more quiet neighborhood close to the Borghese park and in walking distance from "down town". Not bothered by city rumor, good looking rooms, great bed, airco, great breakfast buffet, free WiFi, very nice restaurant nearby. Felt like a retreat, from where you can also "dive" into Rome.
"Lovely clean hotel"
Is a lovely clean hotel. Admittedly from one side of it does look closed but from the front is clean as soon as you walk through the door we was welcomed by a friendly gentleman at reception who was very helpful throughout our stay. All the staff were friendly. The whole hotel was clean and fresh. Free wifi, bar area and a roof terrace to sit on if you wish. Continental breakfast was very nice. Slightly out of centre but didn't both us at all . Highly recommend
"Perfect little base for few days "
Booked this hotel for my mum's surprise 60th birthday trip. I tried to email hotel ahead of arrival to arrange a bottle in room etc but got no reply - also requested a nice room. Arrived at the hotel (roughly 15/20minute walk from Termini station) although a taxi is under 10euro. Nice welcome and explanation re. Breakfast times etc - provided with a map. Once concierge took our bags to room we received a call in room to check we were happy with the room (nice touch!) The hotel room was nice and modern, very clean and nicely decorated - felt like a "UK hotel" which isn't common throughout Europe I've found. NOTE: Local buses in Rome require you to pre-buy a ticket at a tabacchi prior to getting on bus. Reception did not tell us about this when we enquired where to get the bus. They told us "top of the road" - please make this clear - cannot be assumed tourists know this!! We had to get a taxi in the end as we couldn't get bus in time after being refused on without ticket. This hotel was a perfect little base for a few days in Rome. 15-20minutes walk from the centre but plenty of nice restaurants and cafes within 5minutes walk too. Breakfast was OK - range of meats, cheese, cakes, rolls. However it seems if you are coming down around 9-9.30am as we did then supplies do not get replenished unless you specifically ask staff for something. It was included in price I paid so can't really complain. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I visit Rome.
"Perfect for a weekend away"
We are just back from a weekend in Rome... Hotel Fiume was perfect for us, the staff were lovely and very helpful. There was a good selection for breakfast hot and cold. The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Also, lovely restaurants nearby.
"Close to the train station"
I like how this hotel is close to train station. The rooms are really comfortable and very clean with a small balcony with a view of the interior courtyard. Price is fair enough. The reception staff very helpful and welcoming.
