"The hotel is good"
I stayed in the hotel in mid Nov 2016 for 3 days. The hotel is good and is on the main road with spacious and well furnished rooms.The complementary breakfast is also good.The staff members are courteous. However you should be aware that the hotel management will set the room temperature at 25 degrees which i was told is considered as cold.But if you feel it to be hot and uncomfortable they will not change the temperature but instead ask you to keep the window open and you will continue to feel the heat more.I think the management should change this attitude to suit the comfort of guests.
"Disappointed by the front desk"
I stayed at this hotel because of the review on tripadvisor. I have some business in the area and booked one night, for myself and my guest, prepaid by hotels.com. During checked in, I had informed front desk that all expenses for my guest should be charged to my room. As I have to catch an early flight the next day, I wanted to ensure that my guest has a nice breakfast which I did not prepaid. Front desk said no problem. After a day work, we had a drink at the lounge, those served us were very nice, when I tried to sign the bill to my room, the waitress said I cannot cos I did not pay deposit. I had to go to the front desk to sort, so I reminded them to ensure breakfast to be charged to the room which I already had a deposit!. This morning when I check out, I reminded the front desk officers again, they checked the computer and said it is fine. I had reminded them 3 times about this and to my surprise, my guest was asked to pay cash after all, he even sent me a photo of the waiter taking his credit card as a joke. I am embarrassed by this, and it is not good for my business. Overall experience was fine but this poor arrangement will not lead me to go back again.
"Better than many hotels in the area"
If you need to be in this area and you want to stick to SPG, then this hotel is not a bad option at all. The rooms were nice, upgraded, and always clean. The breakfast is better in the lounge, as they can make omelets for you in there. The restaurant is not recommended, as you can get a way better food one block to the mall next door. As far as the customer service go, they have some of the rudest people and their manager is one of them. He would not change a bill of 20 because it is not brand new!!! The worst is the way he responded to us, with such arrogance.
A good hotel with a very professional staff. A common world wild hotel expérience (for that kind of price) except for the breakfeast where all kind of food is available (even coffee 😊). A mall is at ten minutes walking and chinese fondue restaurant is at opposite crossroad. 2 good reasons to stay there with a métro station not so far. What make our stay bad is the glass wall between the room and the toilet and bath room, the curtain leave somerhing to be seen ... What a bad idea ...
me and my wife stayed for 4 nights here and it was excellent. nice food, clean atmosphere , only problem was nobody understood english though every one serving us there was very very decent n nice professional in hotel service matters. Hotel cooperation was at its best.
