"Great meal "
Terrific meal with generous serving portions in the main dining room in the ground floor. Had the beef fillet served with mash and garlic with a side of brocolini,asparagus and bokchoy followed by baked cheesecake and coffee . Accompanied byattentive and professional service - a delight!
"Poor n unprofessional service"
hotel included minibar charges on my bill even though I did not touch anything from the minibar at all. Even though I registered my objections on the charges at check out, I later found out that the hotel had already charged these to my bill. This was after the check out staff gave me the wrong bill (which did not include the breakdown of the bill). Good thing I checked. Later hotel staff blamed it on the system that automatically charged my credit at 12 noon (standard check out time), even though the hotel staff knew I was still in the hotel as they re-validated my room card to enable me to access the room after 12 noon. I eventually checked out at 1245 pm and the wrong charges were already charged to the credit card. Hotel staff was unapologetic and unprofessional. Unpleasant experience overall.
"Great location, fantastic breakfast"
We were here for 3 nights on a pre-cruise stay. Room, service, amenities were very good. Breakfast buffet was excellent with something for everyone. Concierge services were readily available and very helpful. Hotel is right near Darlington Harbor and centrally located to stores and historical sites.
"One of the best hotels in Sydney"
Great value and nice location. Rooms are modern and up to standard for such hotel. Staff is polite and helpful. Facilities include everything you need for your stay. Definitely a great place to stay in Sydney!
"Good location, beware of rooms facing carpark"
I was given a room with a wonderful view of the carpark opposite the hotel. I guess you have to pay a premium to get a room with a better view, and I can't blame the hotel because I've also stayed at the Hilton, at much higher rates, with a great and closeup view of the next building. The service level ranges from excellent (front desk, banquet) to good (restaurant, bell desk). Hotel infrastucture lets them down (resulting in the "poor" rating I gave). Noise isolation is bad, walls are thin, and I can easily hear the TV next door, and people chatting as they walk past my room. A friend stayed on the same floor as the rooftop bar, near the elevators, and it was not pleasant with the foot traffic and conversations livened up by alcohol.
