"Egyptian hospitality at its best"
If you want to enjoy a variety of true Egyptian hospitality, luxury, magnificent Nile and city views, this is the place to be. The four seasons Nile plaza is my absolute favorite hotel in Cairo with its strategic location, variety of restaurants, friendly staff, it caters to both pleasure and business. Highly recommended.
Ambiance. food and service at the Nile Plaza were excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything necessary. I had one piece of luggage delayed and the hotel was helpful with needed toiletries. etc. Food at the Chinese restaurant was especially good

"An oasis for travellers"
We were part of a group that stayed 4 nights at this hotel during our Nile River Cruise. The hotel is just lovely in all aspects from the lobby to the restaurants to the rooms and to the pool area. It has an excellent location for travellers visiting the Egyptian Museum and the Giza Pyramids as travel time can be more than an hour if staying in hotels around the airport. Moreover it is located in a posh area where embassies are located with high security - sniffer dogs, airport x-ray scanning machines - to ensure safety for its guests. Reception is well staffed with English speaking personnel who are ever so helpful. One employee even took me to the bank located by the Beyman's Cafe inside the hotel because I had difficulty finding it and then showed me how to use the ATM money exchange machine as the bank was closed. The bank branch here is open from 11am-8pm. It's best to have money (American, GBP, Euro) to exchange into Egyptian pounds rather than depend on using a bank card to make withdrawals, IMO. Once one has Egyptian pounds in one's hands, it is easy to ask the the bank clerk to exchange large EGPs into smaller denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, or 100 EGP bills. I later discovered that there is an ATM machine close to the reception desk and another one on the 2nd floor. There is a CIB bank beside the hotel across from the narrow parking area. Our room was on the 9th floor with views out over the Nile River - beautiful at nighttime with the surrounding buildings and bridges lit up. The spacious room was quiet. It had its own A/C control unit, a large desk with 2 chairs and and upholstered easy chair with ottoman. There was plenty of storage with cupboards for hanging clothes and drawers. The room safe was large and worked on your own codes as a locking device. Tea/coffee service and fridge with additional drinks were available, but no iron/board. Water bottles were complimentary and sufficient.Terrycloth gowns and slippers were lovely to slip into. The bed was very comfortable with thick mattress, crisp white linens, plenty of pillows and duvet. There even were goose-neck reading lamps on either side of the bed. The flat screen TV faced the bed and had an enormous amount of channels to select from in various languages and type of programming. Wifi was free in the room. The sliding glass door opened onto a covered large balcony furnished with upholstered easy chair and table - great for enjoying the setting sun on the Nile. The bathroom was very spacious with tile on the floors and granite counter tops. There was a separate modern shower stall and tub - each with hand held shower heads. The toilet had its own room. Towels were thick and fluffy. Soap bars were placed wherever there was a washing area. The tub even had a loofa and at the sink area were toothpaste and toothbrush sets and razors. These areas were sparkling clean. We noticed that the hotel offered several restaurants each with their own food specialities and overlapping hours of operation. Each offered an elegant dining experience. We enjoyed a late dinner at Bella, but then it was more convenient to use room service for dinners as we had very early morning departure times. Room service was very reasonably priced (under 300EGP) with foods arriving quickly (under 30 minutes) and served hot on a table with white linens which even had a red rose bud in a vase. There was a large selection of foods to choose from - chicken fish, lamb, beef, salads, soups, sandwiches. Servings were generous and delcious. A bread basket was even included with the order. In good weather the serving table was brought out onto the balcony where we could enjoy the setting sun and early evening lights on the Nile. Several times our early morning departures meant we had to order breakfast boxes which was unfortunate as I much preferred a leisurely buffet breakfast in their elegant restaurant. The tables here are really spread out so conversations are not overheard. The display of hot/cold food is well done with all the variety you can imagine. Our tour guide encouraged us to eat at the hotel rather than eat elsewhere just to be cautious and to stay healthy. We had no food related issues during our stay in Egypt. If eating in the hotel restaurants, do make a reservation to ensure you get a table as these fill up quickly. With more leisure time on a trip, the spacious pool area with its large aqua colored water swimming pool would be ideal for relaxing and swimming. The upper floor grill in the pool area would be convenient for an informal meal. The hotel went beyond meeting the basic needs of travellers. Its luxurious touches, cleanliness, and helpful personnel made our short stay in Cairo a memorable one. We were glad that our Nile Cruise company had chosen this lovely hotel that indulged its guests.
"Excellent stay with perfect service"
Enjoying weekend at four seasons nile plaza is a must-do activity. An ultra luxurious experience that should never be neglected and definitely, I will repeat it again and again. One thing only, be aware that the hotel does not provide free parking for the stay-in, a value of 140 EGP/day must be paid if you're parking at the hotel parking, which I consider the only negative thing during my whole experience.
