"Best in Chiang Mai"
- First, I would love to say that all of staff were so nice. They always smile at me and greet me everywhere i went. Especially, khun Marina- front officer, khun Nisachol-Spa therapist, khun Wine Bird-Sommelier and khun Music-Waiter. - I go to Chiang Mai once or twice a year, but this time is really unforgettable! Resort is located in the center of forest where you can get good weather. I recommend you to stay near rice field where you can see greenery scene and farmer parade every evening. - There is live cooking dinner. Once you pay for it, you can enjoy Thai cooking class with chef and staff. There is various type of food; fried, curry, salad and whatever you can do. I think foreigner would love it. - Oh! don't forget to relax at adult pool. It's fantastic!
"Excellent oasis of calm and tranquility"
What is there not to like about the Four Seasons Resort in Rim Mae' Plenty, actually! If you were a person who dislikes nature, or the kind of person who prefers the buzz of the city night life, you would not enjoy this resort! That begs the question though. - what did you think you were doing ina resort so far away from Chiang Mai city'! I travel a fair bit for work and holiday in resorts with similar set up like this. I have rarely ever reviewed hotels or resorts. This lush oasis with local architecture and well tended fully matured grounds deserves an exception. I wasinvited for a corporate hospitality function and stayed at the Pool Villa. This resort is set in fascimile of a padi field. The resort boost of being sited beside a working padi field charm. That is a marketing gimmick - the padi field looked too small and tidy to be economically viable. The tranquility and impeccable service however makes it totally irrelevant for me to nit pick The Pool Villa was stunning and very private. The ground fairly spread out and there is some distance involved between places that you wish to visit. However, the resort staff were amazingly friendly, obliging without being obsequious. So, you could either call for a buggy, or leg it if you are so inclined (the buggy driver leave you to enjoy your stroll). We were kept busy in the resort, but there was more than enough time to just enjoy your villa or residence and chill out. There were also activities that you could engage in with the padi farmers. I did not bother as I just wanted to chill in the little leisure time away from the organized activities. There are two restaurants, one Thai and the other Italian. Food was good but not quite great. The friendly personal service probably overcame whatever shortfall in expectations about the food though. I had no complaints! Would I return' Most definitely!
The room is spacious, finely decorated and just perfect. Loved the bathroom too! The only negative is that the food at the Thai restaurant (I didn't try the Italian) is not the best and expensive too. There's a buggy at your service as the pavillions are well spread out over the resort, The staff are polite and, dare I say it, delightful!
"One of the greatest hotels Ive been"
We went for our honeymoon to ride some elephants, and we stayed in this hotel. Our travel agency told us not to stay in any other and they were right! It is nice because it is so different, the hotel is in a rice plantation with a lake in the middle. It is like being in the middle of the jungle in a luxury hotel. It has 2 restaurants and Italian food was really great. Rooms had a pavillion if youd like some romantic dinner. Room service has all type of food. We also went to spa and it was delicious. They gave us a room with private sauna and then oriental massage. We recommend this hotel 100%
We are from Mexico, we have travel a lot to be here. This hotel is amazing, but the best is the service! We decided to cancel a tour just to be more time at the hotel, staff is great. Rented a bike at the hotel and we went around it, it was perfect!
