Excellent world class hotel and great staff. FourSeasons pays extraordinary attention to detail and to the guest needs. Air France lost our luggage for two days. Hotel made it bearable and cleaned our clothes quickly.
"Best of the best"
We stayed here for 5 nights during our tour of Cairo. The staff was extremely friendly and could not do more to make our stay comfortable. The views from both our rooms was breathtaking, first of the Nile River ,then of the city with the pyramids in the backround. The rooms were finely appointed and well tended to. If your going to Cairo stay here!
"The First Residence is a good hotel in its own right."
Unfortunately, it falls a little short in comparison with its sister location in Cairo, Four Season at Nile Plaza. NP is just newer, in a better location, and comes with better and more diverse dining options. We are local residents and like to "staycation" about once a month to an oasis of impeccable service and this hotel does not disappoint in that regard. My main draw for me is the food and while overall my family was quite satisfied, there were some disappointments that are uncharacteristic of my experiences at other Four Seasons hotels.
"Egypt short break over Eid, Four Seasons and the pyramids"
Firstly, Egypt felt as safe as any other country we have recently visited and possibly more so than some in Asia, so if you are hesitating booking a trip, don't, get it booked and done while things are peaceful and the crowds are light. The Four Seasons was not on the original booking list with the tour operator I booked with (Memphis Tours, whom were near faultless in every regard) but selected by myself based on prior good experiences elsewhere. Not disappointed as the service was excellent, the early check out service with breakfast boxes were ready, fresh and excellent (even for my fussy 7 year old son) and the room was superb. We stayed twice on the trip, once at the start of the adventure on the 9th Sept and agin on the last day 12th September. First night was in a double which was roomy enough for or son to be on a trundle beside us. Great layout and very comfortable. On the second visit we were upgraded to a suite, newly refurbished and extremely large with kitchenette, full bath room and second half bath and views across the zoo which looks more like a botanical garden. A little road noise cam through the glazing so for those sensitive to such things a rearward facing room may be a better choice (not an issue for me as a heavy sleeper). Restaurant and Pool both excellent. 10 minutes to the Museum in light traffic, 45 minutes to the Pyramids, so the location is very good. Highly recommended if you are in Cairo.
Good location very clean the food is excellent But the hotel has a very serious problem All the staff working with this hotel are begging guests aggressively for money The driver named ibraheem working with the hotel made our life miserable by the way He is asking for money I Will Never come back It's a promise not a threat
