We went to the Four Seasons Sultanahmet on a big family reunion trip - ten people, including the kids. It was one of the best travel decisions we've ever taken! First of all, location: there are few hotels more perfectly situated than the Four Seasons Sultanahmet. All you need to do is walk up the street, and there is the Blue Mosque on your left, and Hagya Sophia on your right. Keep going right and you'll hit Gulhane Park, a great place to play with the kids, also next to Topkapi Palace. Coming up the street from the hotel, walk straight and you hit the Basilica cistern. Walk left and you get to the Grand Bazaar. This worked great for us, as my kids are early risers (between 5 and 6 am) and we could just wake up and go wherever we liked. There are also plenty of Dondurma (Turkish ice cream) stands in the area - a real plus! Now on to service. We've been to luxury hotel properties before, but this place blew them all out of the water! The service wasn't just impeccable - they gave you the feeling that there was nothing they wouldn't do for you. For example, my football crazy son thought he'd lost one of the footballs he'd brought with him. We were at the Seasons restaurant for lunch, and when the friendly restaurant manager came to chat with him, my son mentioned that his ball was lost. Lo and behold, 5 minutes later - a brand new football in the Turkish national football team colours was gifted to him! It is now one of our most prized souvenir for the trip. There were several such incidences - my sister, an artist, took her art work with her. She later found an easel set up in her room. My Grandmother misplaced her rosary and asked housekeeping if they could find it - the rosary didn't turn up anywhere, so the hotel gifted her with three beautiful new ones! My Grandmother is also very interested in anything to do with gardening, and asked about a few of the flowers in the hotel's garden - the gardener was called in, with a waiter acting as translator, and he talked to my Grandmother about the plants and later brought her some cuttings and bulbs to take home as well! I didn't see any other small children at the property (mine are 5 and 1.5) but the kids were still made to feel highly welcome. When we arrived, all the bottom part of the bed was covered with presents for the kids - t shirts, colouring books, colouring pencils, baby products, etc. There were foam letters in the bathtub, spelling out my elder son's name. There was even a diaper bin, and a stool placed under the sink to help my 5 year old reach the taps. They literally thought of everything. The Four Seasons may be expensive, but it is completely worth it. I am sold for life.

"Great hotel, great staff, great location... Perfection"
One of the best hotels I´ve ever stayed at. The location is perfect, in the middle of Sultanahmet, the historical part of Istanbul, between Hagia Sphia, Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque. The hotel, the staff and the service are perfect.
"Excellent Security & Service"
Great customer service & amenities. Thank you for the great "Short" stay. Very comfortable. Servers spoke good english also. Very knowledgeable about local attractions. Quick Car/Taxi service. Well worth the price, will be back!
"A magical stay - in the heart of Istanbul!"
In keeping with the standard of this exquisite hotel - this was truly a treat. The rooms were immaculate, the staff polite and private and the in room treats were special. Truly a place to remember and savour. Being in the heart of historical Istanbul - this made the perfect basis from which to explore. I highly recommend anyone stay here - and I look forward to returning some day!
