"Family-friendly hotel with great service"
The hotel staff catered extremely well to our family's needs throughout our stay. Our rooms had been set up with every imaginable convenience and amenity for the baby and the kids. The staff were a delight, and many of them went out of their way to help us with little things. The breakfast buffet was very extensive, and the quality was good. Service at the pool was great and they made every effort to accommodate special meal requests for the baby. Housekeeping was excellent. The gym is well equipped, and the spa facilities are like a mini version of the Hong Kong one, with helpful and friendly attendants as well. There are five pools, including a couple shallow ones, a freeform one with a waterfall, and a heated one. The outdoor garden is quite pleasant. The hotel is conveniently connected to the Venetian mall and Cotai Central. Eventually, it will be connected to the Parisian as well. Although the small Plaza casino is adjacent, the hotel doesn't feel gaming-centric which is nice for a family visit. A few negatives include the problem of cigarette smoke in the lift lobby (which is prohibited but some guests clearly chose to ignore), and the room decor is a bit tired (but nevertheless comfortable and clean). I would stress wanting to be in a non-smoking floor if that's important.
"Epitome of 5-star Service"
The front of house staff here including rooms division and F&B continue to go beyond expectations thru and thru over the last 8 years. The servers at Zi Yat Heen are first class and the front line at Belcancao are attentive and genuinely eager to please. Spa team member AMBER is world class.
"Tea time, luxury, friendship talking"
Each table has enough space to let you feel not crowded, so we talked comfortable and don't need to be disturbed by the other customers. All decoration from facility to food are well, just like you are enjoying a art. Quiet space with delicious pastry, no regrets.
"Wonderful Place to Stay"
Back in December, we had booked a couple of days between Christmas and New Year to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Macau as it was an anniversary. The Four Seasons is gorgeous - and unlike the other hotels on the strip it feels like a hotel rather than an casino. Everything about it feels special - from the greeting at the lobby to the enormous Christmas tree in the lobby lounge area to the pool area. It has that touch of fairy dust about it that you want from a special hotel. The check in worked well - there was a tiny wait but we were served efficiently and courteously. I then went up to the room - which was fine. It was a perfectly lovely room but unlike the lobby area the room seemed to be lacking the fairy dust. It didt make me OH I LOVE IT - I WANT TO LIVE HERE FOREVER! Which is what I want for from a 5 star hotel - and especially one in Macau. So I had a lovely chat with the staff at reception and explained my slight disappointment. They were amazing - after about 5 mins they said - "I think we have something that you might like. It's on a smoking floor though" They then showed me to a beautiful suite - that was huge and had a whole bag of fairy dust. I wanted to move in there and then! And as the receptionist pointed out - there wasn't a problem with the smoke - it smelt wonderful as did the whole hotel. It was perfect for our special time. And the hotel continued to be exceptional - from the staff and the service, to the ambience. If you want an extra special retreat in Macau - this is THE place to stay. Our time at The Four Seasons was such a happy and a perfect time that we are coming again this weekend - to have our last visit to Macau. We went to Macau for our first holiday from Hong Kong and we are leaving this week so it will be our last holiday too. We hope it's as good as I want to make a sad time a happy time to remember.
The pool area is a place you want to leave, although it doesn't open till 8am which I found was a little late. If I had morning meetings I wouldn't have had time to swim. The rooms are just so comfortable and the beds are so soft you get a really restful sleep. I think the staff make the Hotel special, they want to make your stay the best but do it in a pleasant way without any fuss.
