"BEST HOTEL IN MEXICO CITY"
This hotel continues to be the best in town. Location is fabulous and on Sunday you can actually walk out of the hotel and since they close the streets you can enjoy a stroll unlike anything you've done. Building is beautiful and unlike other hotels that have a more sterile appearance, it is warm and inviting yet contemporary and has clean lines. Restaurant was recently revamped. Had lunch and found the meal to be well prepared, authentic Mexican cuisine but will cater to all tastes.Wouldn't state anywhere else.
"Great Rooms, Amenities and Staff"
The hotel rooms were contemporary, spacious and beautiful. The staff was very welcoming and the service top notch. Loved the morning coffee from the in-room Nespresso. The lounge restaurant staff was by-committee very attentive. One oddity I've experienced at Four seasons before, and this was no different... The DO Not Disturb sign means nothing to them. If you are not there with the sign displayed outside your door, they will come in ANY way and provide full housekeeping service. I don't consider this a good thing. "Do Not Disturb" means "Do not come in and perform services, I LIKE my room as-is".
"Fantastic. Enjoyable. Excellent. "
Fantastic. The hotel is nestled between Chapultepec Castle and the main thoroughfare on Reforma ave. The hotel staff maintain the hotel and surrounding area impeccable and cater to every question or concern as if it was their own. Every room provides a fantastic view into the immaculate garden and court yard. The staff of the bar and restaurant were always gracious and eager to help and the food and drinks had us taking pictures due to their high quality. If you do join the festivities at the bar ask for Lalo (Eduardo) as that young man will make sure that you feel at home. Very respectful and professional but at the same made us feel as if we had been going there for years. Enjoyable. The concierge helped us with all our tourist wants and gave us additional suggestions of places to eat and visit that were all within walking distance. I cannot say enough of the local guides provided by the concierge for our trip to the pyramids. His knowledge of local landmarks and what makes the city tick was one of the most enjoyable time we had in our four day visit. His name is Virgilio Gonzalez and he was both a gentleman and a scholar. He has been with the hotel since 1978 and it shows in his commitment. No pushing of souvenir shops like most guides will do and his patience with us is to be commended. Excellent. This is the Four Seasons so there is a certain amount of prestige that the name invokes. This particular Four Seasons far exceeded our expectations. I already spoke to how the grounds and exterior are kept; however, the ladies that maintain your room do so in a way that everyday when you return your room is in the same state of excellence as when you first arrived. It is always the little things that make ones stay and enjoyable and they did not fail. Like most women my wife tends to bring separate luggage for her makeup and what not and every day they would organize the bathroom sink area with all her products as if they were on display in a store. My last points in this review was how helpful the front desk was with our stay. We arrived very early (6am) and fully expected to have to wait until 3pm to check into our room. We had prepared ourselves to wander the the surrounding area waiting and within minutes she was able to find us a room and without any additional charge and for that they have out gratitude. As we were searching for the cheapest fare of rooms there nothing came close to what they offer on their site. Our third day was free and from my understanding that is standard practice and not just a promotion at the time, so I suggest going to their site to book your room. As we were checking out our flight wasn't until 7pm and they were more then willing to store our luggage and even offered a late checkout free of charge. We did notice a couple that seemed to be in disagreement over their reservation and I can only say this: We as patrons have a certain level of expectations, but please bare in mind that if you went through a third party to book your stay then the responsibility of verification falls on you. To stand in a hallway acting like a spoiled child just makes you look entitled and petty. The staff is highly professional and that same professional attitude should be reciprocated back to them.
"Phenomenal hotel in great location"
Our stay at the Four Seasons was spectacular. The property is located in a great area that is walking distance to great neighborhoods like Condesa and Roma and is a short cab ride to the popular Polanco neighborhood. The staff was helpful but not overbearing and the concierge gave us great recommendations for breakfast and dinner. The property is absolutely beautiful with a great courtyard in the middle and has several restaurants and a great bar. The rooms were spacious, clean outfitted with beautiful finishes. I will plan on staying at this property again when I visit Mexico City again.
"Stay in style in Mexico City"
The Mexico City Four Season combines the FS recognized service with the Mexican hospitality. Staff was extremely helpful. Rooms were large and well furnished. Food was exceptional (had both breakfast and dinner). Great place to stay for both business and pleasure.
