"Visited the spa"
My husband surprised me with a massage at the spa and it was heavenly! Excellent customer service, great amenities, wonderful massage and lovely products. Highly recommend! The RMT was great--she kept checking in on me. My husband and I then had lunch at Café Boulud which was very good--we were there mid-afternoon so it was quiet but I've heard there's a great vibe at night.
"Phenomenal DJ Experience!!"
Provided DJ services inside Aria Ballroom located at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel Toronto! Whether it's a wedding or corporate event, you're in excellent hands and the food is excellent. Huge thanks to Catering Sales Manager, Lisa and her team for all their assistance.
"Four Seasons Toronto Spa"
My husband and I love staycations at the Four Seasons Toronto. This review is for my recent trip to the Spa only. The Locker/Lounge area is beautifully designed, clean and tranquil. The Locker staff extremely friendly. My mother thoroughly enjoyed her 3 in 1 facial. She loved the Budapest products used in that facial and that she purchased them on our way out. I had a manicure that included sugar scrub, mud wrap and gold infused oil hot rock massage, Elizabeth was perfect. She is also fantastic with shellac. The spa although typically booked never feels busy, is impeccably clean and all staff highly professional.
Given the premium we paid for a junior suite, we had higher expectations. After a long drive, we checked in after 3 p.m. and it took about a half hour for the front desk to figure out our reservations. This could have been easily remedied by sending us to the bar for a couple drinks on the hotel while they sorted it out -- but no, we were charged for the drinks. When we attempted to take the drinks to our room (they had figured out our reservations by then), we were chased after by a guy who looked like Chris Helmsworth and were told we couldn't leave with the drinks. While this is some sort of Toronto liquor law, it added up to another awkward customer experience. My wife had ordered champagne for the room (we were celebrating my birthday), but alas, no champagne. So, back to the front desk to inquire about the missing bubbly, which was eventually delivered with assurances that the hotel would make up for the mistake. By the end of the trip we didn't see any indications of remediating a poor check in experience. The room was very nice -- clean, spacious and a nice view. Housekeeping was great, with everyday thorough cleaning. We ordered room service for dinner and breakfast and had quality meals. The iPad in the room was great for ordering room service and requesting ice, but it didn't play sound, which made it useless for basic Internet browsing where sound is necessary (YouTube). The courtesy car was a really nice touch, and the folks working the front door were very friendly. We had a really good dinner at the Cafe Boulud, but that also started with lost reservations, so we had to wait again while they sorted it out. We had drinks at the dBar, which we called something else due to the pompous nature of the clientele. The gym and spa were great, with modern equipment and a nice pool. Overall, not a great value for the price paid.
"Best Birthday Ever!!!!"
My girlfriends surprised me with an overnight stay at this hotel and it was simply magical! From the moment we checked in, we were treated like royalty. We were even upgraded to a one bedroom suite with gorgeous views of Rosedale! When we arrived to the suite we had chocolate cake waiting for us with a birthday note from the hotel General Manager. We then spent the day at the Spa getting facials and manicures. Everywhere I went the staff seemed to know it was my birthday! We then got ready and had drinks at d|bar before heading to dinner at Sotto Sotto (delicious!) We returned back to the hotel after dinner to enjoy more drinks at d|bar.... What a scene!!!! We had an incredible time dancing with the other guests and listening to the DJ.... I would STRONGLY recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway with friends or a loved one. Thank you Four Seasons.... can't wait to return next year!
