"Perfect honeymoon destination"
This place is heaven on earth. We went there for our honeymoon and if I get a chance, I will certainly go back. We did not book a taxi with the hotel, however on arrival, there was a driver waiting for us arranged by the hotel. The resort is well hidden from the outside world. You are driven up a very narrow path up to the reception area, which is a small platform on the top of a hill overlooking the whole resort. You are greeted by friendly and professional staff, who check you in while you sit on a couch with a view of the resort from the top. You are then driven through the very clean and well maintained resort to your secluded villa. The villa itself is outstanding; very spacious, elegant and with its own terrace, sun beds and a large outside pool. Every day, the room is cleaned and some fresh fruits and sweets left for you to enjoy on the terrace which has a small cabinet that has a coffee maker, a fridge and snacks. To go anywhere in the resort, you only have to call reception and they will send someone to pick you up in minutes. The beach is one of the best I have been to with staff attending to your every need. They always offer free drinks and snacks while you are on the beach. The restaurants and terraces are great and the food is sublime. It is truly paradise on earth and I would highly recommend it.
"Unforgetable stay at Koh Samui"
Excellent hotel. Perfect service. In room dining provide good alternative to the limited menu of the restaurants. Perfect tropic beach with coconut trees and yellow sand.... Spa experience was ausome.
"Amazing resort but not the best Spa and Afternoon tea"
We went there on a trip day, and the whole site is worth a visit. I was planning a visit there for months as I was in Samui as my brother live there. The resort is beautiful, the staff amazing and they are really nice. I choose to have an hour long massage on the beach with my husband. The weather was perfect, the only thing is as we were on the beach, there were some mosquitos and during a relaxing massage is quite annoying. We asked for a relaxing massage and at some point it was a bit tough but I didn t mind. Then we headed to Koh Thai Restaurant to have an afternoon tea which was ok but I was expected a bit more from Four seasons.
"Disappointed with this Four Seasons resort"
The reception was great, i received a bouquet of fresh plucked flowers because we were on our honeymoon. However it went downhill from there. I booked a spa session for the next day and in the brochure it said it was a " specialized therapeutic massage". I didn't find out till i was in the massage room laying down that the therapist doesn't actually touch my body at all, she warms her hands and hovers them over my body and it was supposed to make me feel the "energy". It was a joke. The massage therapist was extremely nice and she was only doing her job so i didn't complain because the shame should be on the hotel not the staff. Also, in room dinning was really bad. i ordered three times at different times on different days and it never got better, it was almost like anyone that was in the kitchen was warming up food or preparing it very poorly and sending it to the room. My salad was wilted and old grilled cheese sandwich was not grilled it was just oily. The real joke was when i asked to have my vegetable spring rolls without onions and they said i would have to order them a day in advance! Seriously a 5 star hotel and i cant get an order of spring rolls made fresh to my liking' I placed the order for the day after but since were were denied a late checkout "due to full capacity" which was a lie, i ended up canceling the order. The reason i say the full capacity excuse was a lie, was because i went to the hotel website and made a mock booking for the same room on the same day of our checkout and guess what' it was available. We spent very good money not only to stay at this hotel but we also ordered room service, dined at the restaurants, i had two spa treatments and my husband surprised me with a "once in a blue moon" private dinner on the beach (which was delicious) so to have all of these flaws and then get lied to just so we wouldn't get a late checkout was very upsetting. Yes they offered the departure lounge to us because we were not allowed to have a late checkout but that just didn't cut it for me. I have to say the positives were the staff especially (Haroon) he was our server for our dinner on the beach. One of the most polite and kindest persons i have ever met. I would come back to dine at the Pla Pla restaurant the food was delicious. Overall this Four Seasons resort didn't make the cut for me. Especially after we had stayed at the Four Seasons in Kyoto, Japan and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Stunning villa rooms, a bathtub with a view, loved the spa had an amazing treatment where I felt like I was in heaven! As usual there are the annoying mosquitoes at dusk and dawn but generally they seemed to have the pest control under control. Lovely staff always helpful so was truly pampered. The bar on the seafront was a little quiet at most times, would have liked to have seen more guests or events there but still very romantic with stunning views.
