The Four Seasons DC has been like a second home to us. Coming often to DC to visit our daughter who attends College here, the entire FS Team has been the best. Concierge and Front Desk have welcomed us with such hospitality each and every visit. Truly love it there. Always enjoy & hate leaving.
"Good location, slick service"
Hotel is conveniently located in Georgetown which allows you to access the restaurants and shopping fairly easily without the need for a car. The hotel building itself is a pretty ugly brick facade giving way to a modern interior. The positives for me was the 24 hour gym and the fact that the rooms have a separate shower in the bathroom. Like all Four Seasons hotels the staff are invisible and your room is always made up and cleaned without asking and promptly. The breakfast area is a little soul destroying. Reminds me of one of those large wedding rooms where you throw in a couple of collapsible tables and chairs so its a little sterile. However the food was good albeit pricey. Two eggs (scrambled) is around $ 15 (no they were not ostrich eggs) and I think the orange juice was circa $ 8 (get confused if the coffee was $8 or $6)...anyway it was a good stay but at $1500 p.n. not exactly the best value for money but then this is my second stay and that in itself tells a story.,..
"Love their rooms!!! "
I absolutely loved my room! It was so spacious... it had a separate bar area, closet, a pretty large living area with a couch and chair, and a very large bathroom with a double vanity, stand up shower and tub! I wish I had more time to enjoy the tub! They also have a speaker box next to the bed where you can bluetooth your phone and play music, which I enjoyed while getting dressed. Room service was timely and good (I had a pasta dish and would recommend that it is served with a side of toasted bread). We had an event in one of their ballrooms and the event went very well! Every interaction with a staff member - from front desk, room service, valet, banquets - was pleasant and genuine, which is expected when staying at a FS.
"Top notch luxury hotel."
Very convenient at the edge of Georgetown, and walkable to George Washington University and parts of NW DC towntown. Accomodations and service can't be beat. However, you pay for it. Note that parking was $52 per day.
"Excellent Hotel in Every Way"
The hotel stay started off bumpy (first day), but Amir Sakr, the front office manager, made up for it the next day (thank you, much appreciated). Stayed at the hotel 8 nights, was a wonderful stay. The Sunday brunch was delicious, huge selection. Breakfast and Dinner there many days, never disappointed, meals always delectable. Outstanding service including the maid service (day & night), room service, bellman, concierge. Superb room for business and family travel (although on vacation, I had morning work meetings). Location, location: many restaurants and shopping in Georgetown, also close to all of the sight seeing (White House, Capitol, Lincoln memorial, etc.) The new Smithsonian African American Museum opened the weekend we were there, to our disappointed we found out the passes to it unavailable until next year, but the Concierge had free passes and provided them to us (another example of their first-rate service). Can't say enough about my exceptional stay at the Four Seasons DC.
