"Good CBD location"
Handily located on Kent Street towards Darling Harbour and Haymarket, meaning a short stroll to anywhere in the CBD. Good selection of Asian cheap-eats nearby. Coles supermarket and Woolworths also nearby which was convenient. Townhall station is two minutes away on foot which made for handy escapes during downtime.
"Big room but looking a bit tired"
Was given a suite on the 13th floor, and I have to say the room was large...had its own kitchenette, separate bedroom, separate bathroom and lounge room. The walls were looking run down with marks and unpainted repairs evident. The gym was good - large space with plenty of equipment and free weights. Buffet breakfast was OK - nothing spectacular but good enough to start the day with. Location is excellent, very close to Darling Harbour and lots of cafes and restaurants to eat at. My view from the 13th floor was pretty bad, I think it overlooked the roof of another building which had rubbish and cigarettes butts all over. I keep the windows blinds closed most of the time. WiFi was excellent. Service was OK - wasn't rude, but wasn't welcoming.
"Great spot to stay, central, but pricey."
Had a great few days staying here. You can park your car under the building for a daily charge, and then leave it, as you can walk easily to darling harbour or get the train around the city circuit, or walk down to circular quay. Nowhere is too far really. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment, which was very well appointed. However you need to beware that the 2 bedroomed apartment is actually 2 apartments with separate locking doors, then with an additional locking door to get into both. If you have young children this set up would not work very well. It is effectively a completely separate room with a heavy fire door that cannot be propped open. We had to ask for 2 sets of keys for both rooms so we could all go between the 2 rooms. Having said that, the one room was a normal but well appointed double room with very comfortable bed, kettle, etc, bathroom. The other, which was the "master" suite for the 2 rooms, had a well appointed kitchen, including a Nespresso machine and a selection of capsules, plus a dining table, and comfortable corner lounge with large screen tv. The bedroom in this one was separated by a sliding door for privacy. The views from the 36th floor of the city and darling harbour were fantastic. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom not huge, but large shower took up a fair amount of space. There is a good indoor pool, and spa, plus a well equipped gym. We used the pool every day after walking around the city. Very refreshing, not overly heated. It was expensive, but no more than other 2 bedroom apartments in the city area. Staff helpful, service good. No restaurant on site, but there is a short walk to many restaurants around. Would stay there again.
"Doesn't Worth the Price"
Too much coming from outside. There is a very Poor isolation. The Room are really too small according to the expensive room rate. Tge Staff are not helpful and friendly during the check in. It Doesn't worth at all the price.
