Sehr schönes Hotel - sehr gute Kombination von alten und neuen Elementen - sehr stylisch - extrem freundliches Personal - tolle Aussicht auf Istanbul beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse - sehr gute Betten / BettwäscheComment of W. Fritz, Austria the 2015-03-27
Loved this hotel! Only comment on the bathroom is that the water leaked from the shower which made the floor soaking wet. We stayed in room 17 the first two nights and the isolation was great, moved up to room 21 where the isolation wasn't that great due to the restaurant. All and all we loved to stay at this hotel!Comment of W. Charlotte, Sweden the 2015-03-26
"Superb room "
Superb room size with awesome balcony view . I could sit there all day on the sofa and enjoy a good cuppa Turkish coffee. Very value for price base on the room size. Very nicely designed toilet which is modern.
"Very bad staff! Everybody try to cheat you!"
We prepaid for two night by Hotel Tonight. During checkin we check that our stay is prepaid. After first night we back at 3pm and our room was not cleared. We contact front desk about this issue, but he said that no cleaning service at Sunday. 4**** hotel without cleaning service '''' Rally''' When we checking out, front desk want from me extra 69$ for extra night!! We already prepaid, but stat was really rude and dot want nothing only money! We not paid and leave hotel. Very bad service
"Small boutique hotel"
We stayed here in Dec. 2016 and then again in early March 2017.Very accommodating staff. Lovely room. Great location. Hope they get another cat. We could walk to the Galata Tower and many restaurants, plus we could walk over the Galata Bridge to see Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophis, and Grand Bazaar (this is a long walk) charming cobblestone streets all around and many pretty shops. I will go back.
"Quaint hotel out of the tourist areas"
Inconspicuous and low profile hotel in a great area close to good restaurants and bars. With tourism in Turkey suffering as a result of security issues, some hotels are struggling to survive. While the Georges has reduced some of their facilities and services, the hotel remains a pleasant place to stay with excellent and helpful staff.
"Great little hotel - private and safe."
We stayed at this lovely little hotel for four nights. We had a slight problem with our room halfway through our stay (a small leak during heavy rain) and they promptly moved us to an upgraded room. The hotel itself is small and intimate, and in a great location - about one minutes' walk to Galata tower. The hotel frontage is so discrete that we walked straight past it when we were trying to find it! We prefer to avoid large chain hotels in the current environment in Turkey - this place was absolutely perfect for us; we felt very safe. The rooms were quiet and private. The view from the rooms on the water side is really lovely (we didn't stay in one of those, but we took a sneak peak!). Breakfast was simple but nice, on the roof top terrace. We also had some cocktails up there; they were good too. We didn't eat there, but the menu was small but looked good. The coffee was not at all to our taste - if you're particular about your coffee, stick with tea! The only negative with staying at such a small hotel is that they were not able to provide very good support in terms of tourist-type questions. Not a huge deal, given the plethora of info available at your fingertips on the Internet these days. The staff were quite lovely, and the general service was warm and personal. We'll certainly be back.
