Great place. Excellent service. Excellent access. Good eating and night life places at walking distance. Good food. Very courteous staff. Very easy to move around the city as cabs are always available at the front of the hotel.
"Nice place, busy Saturday night"
Nice property, the only ding is it was hard to find the parking valet from gps especially on busy Saturday night with road closures. Took about twenty minutes to get to valet. Nice room, art in hallway is cool. Quieter in room than I thought it would be for being so busy lobby was loud and flurry of activity). Room service was good. The Feel is here a little to fru fru for my tastes (folks dressed to impress where I like to chill in jeans) but different strokes for different folks. Starbucks in lobby.
"Expensive and worth every penny"
I spent just one night here on business. Entering the small lobby gives you a much more comfortable feel than many hotels. As you enter from the valet parking, the front desk is immediately inside the door. It was well staffed at all times, I never saw anyone waiting. The staff from parking to front desk to restaurant to housekeeping is absolutely above all the rest. They were always warmly greeting me wherever I went. Security there is wonderful as you use your room key to get access to your floor unless you're going to the open floors (meeting rooms are on 5th floor.. etc ). I had dinner at their restaurant, sea bass, and it was perfect. I don't particularly like fish unless it DOESN'T taste like fish so I only get that dish at upscale restaurants. Light, flaky and sooo fresh. There is a jazz group that played later Friday night in a small room between the bar and dining area. Perfect. Great music but far enough away that conversations were easy. Professional basketball teams stay here at times, one was leaving as I was arriving, so you may run into a famous face if your timing is good. Art work is plentiful everywhere and magnificent. I know nothing about art but I liked what I saw. In all a beautiful hotel with great people and people make the experience the best.
"Phillip and Benjamin are AWESOME!!!"
My wife and I stayed at this awesome hotel the night of our wedding reception. A year later we returned for our anniversary. The concierge, Phillip Haddock and front desk, Benjamin Deering welcomed us like we were superstars. They asked a few questions and were extremely attentive. Shortly after settling into our room, a knock at the door. Room service walks in with bottles of water, champagne, and a thoughtful happy anniversary card. This kind of service and attention to detail is why we truly enjoyed our stay. The room is amazing, location is amazing, but Phillip and Benjamin...they are awesome! We hope your leaders read this review and REWARD you for the moments you create. Thank you for making our stay special! Cheers.
"Over priced, underserved"
Stayed for business at this hotel with a large group. However, for close to three-hundred a night plus taxes and exuberant parking fees, I would expect perfections. Not rattelly tv remotes, un replenished coffee when they make the room, better lighting, more connectivity (plus, usb ports, ethernet, all which where non existent). The furnishings a bit older than expected (ancient LCD TV screen, showerhead had no life), lighting in the room was abysmal. No breakfast included !! Might as well just go down the road to that other H brand !! Did I mention that the pool at my neighborhood was three times as nice and big as what they call a "pool"'
