The Grand Hotel et de Milan enjoys an excellent location in the centre of Milan, opposite via Montenapoleone. The Cathedral, La Scala Theatre and financial district are located nearby. The most important museums such as the Poldi Pezzoli, the Royal Palace, the Brera picture gallery - surrounded by the lively artist's quarter - and the Galleria are all just a stone's throw away. The property is just a short walk from the Alla Scala theatre the Duomo and the financial area of the city.

"Superb hotel in a very convenient location"
Where do I begin' Everything about this hotel is wonderful - spotless rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast buffet.....On the first evening, we arrived back to find little treats on the table. On arriving back the following evening, we were told that there was filming going on outside our room - no problem! Shortly afterwards there arrived a bottle of prosecco + some nibbles to compensate for any annoyance! The only downside was that our room was at the front of the hotel - the street is busy + quite noisy!
We stayed at this magnificent hotel last week . The elegance and charm of the surrounds ooze from every corner of this grand , majestic hotel. Once inside, it is as if you have been transported in time to another world and you almost expect to see the maestro, Verdi appear or Maria Callas come down to sing an aria! The staff are extremely warm and friendly and bend over backwards to help your every request. The rooms are rich and splendidly furnished. We even had a balcony which we were able to access from our room. The breakfast was extremely good . I have been to visit Milan on other occasions but have never enjoyed my stays until finding the Grand Hotel et de , Milan. I will most definitely return to both Milan and this fabulous hotel.
"Top pick for a Milanese holiday"
There are plenty of 5-star hotels to choose from in Milan, including some that may appear glitzier than the Grand Hotel. What the Grand Hotel has that its competitors lack, however, is class, along with gracious service, thoughtfully appointed rooms, and a location on a street that's central but not congested.
The rooms are elegant and old-fashioned in the sense of beautiful wooden antique furniture, gorgeous draperies, and French doors that actually allow you to go out onto the balcony. (My room had a view of the Duomo!) The room service was impeccable, and the food was delicious with many vegetarian options. The breakfast buffet was enormous. The space was quiet, and the waitstaff changed the tablecloth at each table after the guests finished eating. It is also a perfect location to the Golden Rectangle for shopping, about 5 minutes from the opera, 10 from the Duomo and also about that to the Brera. I would definitely stay there again.
"Italian Pearl of tradition"
It has become a family tradition to spend at least one night at the Grand Hotel every time we are near Milan. We are all looking forward to it, children and adults. Impeccable service is also available at other hotels, but the Grand Hotel is unique for its discrete elegance, probably passed over for centuries. It is ideal for accessing the shopping area and it is fantastic for a night at the Opera. La Scala theater is few steps away and the fantastic Don Carlos restaurant will wait for you after the performance!
