"Willing to go above and beyond"
Our extended family stayed at the Grand Hyatt KL for birthday celebrations and all hotel staff, without exception ensured that the overall experience was amazing. We stayed in the club suites, which easily accommodated our own family of 2 adults and 2 children (9, 7). Whilst the room and facilities were all of an extremely high standard, clean and comfortable, it was the service that really made the holiday. Our children have severe (life-threatening) food allergies and it makes overseas travel very difficult and nerve-wracking. Chef Michel and the whole Food & Beverage team ensured that our children were able to eat all their favourite foods without risk of the allergens or cross contamination. We were also able to order "day bags" so that we could explore outside the hotel without worrying about where to get food. Every food outlet in the hotel (from the restaurants through to the pool were advised of their allergies and the children were very excited to be able to order food poolside (we were at the pool every day!). It was especially sweet the way that our children were welcomed throughout the hotel and the way in which the staff interacted with them. We simply cannot recommend this hotel enough.
"A Brilliant Hotel"
Stayed here on a short business trip and found it to be a brilliant hotel. Situated in the centre of KL - the reception is on the 39th floor with great views over The skyline - and the Petronas Towers. The room was really good and big, with all the amenities you would expect in a 5 Star hotel - a large comfy queen size bed, iron and ironing board, walk in shower and walk in wardrobe. The room also had a floor to ceiling window - which meant great views. The sky bar had stunning views over KL and the Resteraunt was good for breakfast with a large and varied selection of food types. The outdoor pool was also great and there was an indoor Jacuzzi, Steam room and sauna. The large gym also had a great selection of Cardio machines and free weights. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. A superb hotel for business or holiday.
"Great business hotel. Nice holiday hotel depending on your budget "
Stayed here for 2 nights for business in one of the club rooms. Rooms offer great views of the city and from the shared areas of the hotel it's got nice views of the twin towers. Service staff were great and the breakfast was pretty good. It's located a short walk away from the pavilion shopping area and klcc via a covered walk bridge. 10mins walk max. Nothing located immediately outside the hotel expect for a Starbucks. A main stretch of bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. Only issues I had, the lobby is on the 38th floor and you have to take one lift up to that and transfer to another lift to access the room. All in all a pretty comfortable hotel all round. Located within walking distance of most of what you would need to see in that area. However, likely that there are cheaper options available close by.
"No 5 star experience"
No star experience, missed breakfast coz of failure to wake up early enough due to the different time zones but no complimentary was given instead I was asked to pay if I needed breakfast. There was a hole on the side of my bedsheet..carelessness of the highest order for 5 star though interesting tecnology of AC..water heater and bathroom glass system and generous toiletry supplies Great check in services
"Simple yet great staycation"
Enjoy everything facilities in Grand Hyatt KL. The swimming pool is oxygenated and treated with salt instead of chlorine - feels good and relaxed. Gym, spa with hot tub, sauna and steam room are splendid.
