"View of twin towers won't get old"
The Grand Hyatt is luxurious and comfortable with all of the bells and whistles. The staff are incredibly friendly and want to make your stay exceptional. The pool is an oasis to cool down in the hot, muggy afternoons. My whole family was able to relax during our stay in this hotel. All this being said, I wasn't a huge fan of the immediate area where Grand Hyatt, or any of all the high end hotels, are located. It is surrounded by enormous malls, if you're into that sort of thing, without much culture or character. For that, you'll have to take a taxi or Uber to see some of the older parts of the city. However, I would highly recommend you spend the extra money to have a view of the Petronas Towers. It is the jewel of KL and an architectural wonder. The view blew us away every time we saw it. It is best seen lit up at night though you can't beat waking up to something so marvelous in the mornings either.
We had a room with a view of the towers, which was huge and very comfortable. Parts of the hotel are a little dated and tired but the GH had the best buffet breakfast I've ever had with a selection of everything from the egg station, to Indian, Chinese, Japanese, continental, cereals, bakery, bagels and amazing juices! Not related but I think it should be mentioned: A word of warning if visiting KL, snatch thefts by people on mopeds are sadly an occurrence around areas such as Bukit Bintang.
"Not to be missed"
A brilliant hotel with fantastic staff. A real must to stay In if you are visiting KL for business or pleasure. Check out JP Terrace for lunch or dinner. Stay on the club floor for an even better experience.
"Adjacent to the Twin Towers"
Excellent front desk. The caring and attention to details impressed me upon check-in and check-out. Locate 3-min walk from Suria KLCC, where is good for shopping and dining, as road traffic is in general bad.
"Sizeable rooms, good location"
We came for a mega family trip during new years. The sofa was sizeable enough to serve as the extra bed for the kid. We also arrange an extra single bed for the other kid, and still there was enough space. Toilet separate from shower cubicle which as good. Lobby located at a very high floor with a magnificent view over the twin towers, especially being able to watch the fireworks during new years' eve. Walking distance to KLCC with a big shopping complex. The pool was big but slightly cold for December swimming. Gym had the full range of equipment. Breakfast served a full western and asian buffet. Bistro at the lobby level had good satay and chicken rice. As a Hyatt member, services good as expected.
