"Luxury by the marina"
An excellent hotel from the get go. The service was exceptional. The attention to detail is plain to see and this hotel exudes class. The rooms are modern and spacious. The breakfast buffet was one of the best that I have seen. The location is ideal for the marina. You can walk from the hotel to the marina in two minutes and then walk around the marina which offers a multitude of restaurants and boat trips etc. The Palm and the Sail hotel could be seen from the balcony.
"Amazing hotel with incredible staff"
We have just spent 6 days in Dubai staying at this magnificent hotel. There are 2 towers one with apartments and the other with rooms. We stayed in Tower 1 in a spacious 2 bed apartment which has more than enough space for a family of 5 (children aged 11, 9 and 5). Within the apartment there was a Master bedroom with en suite, another bedroom with huge single beds which allowed my 11 year old and 5 year old to share comfortably even though an extra bed was offered, we didn't need it. There was a bathroom and a separate toilet, lounge and kitchen. We were on the 19th floor and had a fabulous view of the marina, absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were spotless and cleaned to a very high standard. Everyday we came back to immaculate rooms. The beds were luxurious and after a day out we all melted into our comfortable beds and had a great sleep. Breakfast catered for a wide variety of cuisines. Once again the food was first class and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. You could eat anything from rice and beef stew to a traditional english breakfast. Fried eggs/omelettes/pancakes were prepared whilst you waited or brought to your table. There was a swimming pool on the 4th floor which was great for the children, but the sister hotel, Royal le Meridien has better facilities. You can get a free shuttle bus from outside the hotel to this hotel and the shuttle runs every 15 mins. At Royal le Meriden there are a few pools including a children's pool as well as a private beach. If you fancy a camel ride there is an opportunity to do this here. The panoramic view is amazing. It is much cheaper to take a taxi from the airport than take the hotel's shuttle service which will cost approx AED350. From Al Maktoum International (DWC) it cost AED90 and when we left the hotel it cost AED74 - the journey time was 30 mins. Taxi's are permanently outside of the hotel so you can get transport to your destination quickly. Another quick tip would be to download the app headout as this has the full range of activities and experiences at a fraction of the price. We were able to go on a desert safari with falconry for AED495 for a family of 5 but some agents were quoting AED495+ per person. Please note that if you want to go on the quad bikes its cheaper to book this as desert safari and quad biking experience which was priced at AED122 per person. As quad biking was not part of our package the additional cost was AED250 per person.
"Elegant Grosvener House"
From the moment you enter this hotel ,you are welcomed and looked after, the staff are superb and always happy to assist in any way .The reception area is lovely ,and the rooms are lovely everything you need ,the best towels ever and lovely bed linen .The decor is cool and modern and everything immaculate as you would expect ,lovely resturants on site. The breakfast buffet selection is amazing everything is there ,freshly cooked eggs anyway you like them. The downside ,is the pool area a little small ,but the attention is still there ,ice water provided as soon as you go out there ,if you are a real sun worshiper you can get the free bus to the sister hotel where there is a lovely beach and pool area.My only criticism is I was asked for £500 on arrival for any bills I may incur whilst in the hotel ,this I found a little offensive.I refused to pay this .A lovely hotel and would love to revisit soon .
Very nice hotel, we got an apartment, big and comfortable, stuff are super and very helpful, excellent bars and restaurants, just perfect Spa should be better, at least for men it needs to be with more facilities. And more Eastern music like Arabic and Persian musics on TV is necessary.
Recently was lucky enough to have a 4 night stay here. From the moment the hotel picked us up at the airport to the moment we left I cannot fault anything. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite in Tower 2 which was amazing. It was my birthday whilst there and returned to the room that evening to find a cake and a bottle of wine waiting, a wonderful surprise. Breakfast was wonderful, a huge array of food and the crepe chef remembered how I liked them each day. I would highly recommend a stay here and I cannot wait to return
