Modern room in quiet location, friendly and professional staff, great weekly rate. Hotel restaurant great for breakfast, and good for dinner too, as there is not much choice in this neighborhood. Would stay again, in spite of the strangely low water pressure in the shower.
We had a wonderfull stay at the Hampshire Hotel-The Manor Amsterdam, The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, The service was fantastic and the room was clean and very comfortable and spacious. To get into town central the tram takes 15 min which stops outside the hotel we highly recommend this hotel to anyone and we would stay again
The staff was helpful overall and in addition, when we had a noisy neighbor one night and the staff was moved us to another room the day. We left out packed bags in the old room and when we returned in the evening the bags were in the new room. The pillows are quite bulky. Too high for my neck but I realize that's a matter of personal preference. and they may be fine for other folks.
Absolutely loved my stay at the Hampshire Hotel The Manor, got upgraded for free to a deluxe suite. Comfy beds, fridge, nice big bath, great size, felt really homely. Got room service and Breakfast both excellent and a lot to offer. Little far out from centre for us,about €15 euros in a taxi, highly recommend staying here 🛎📞💶💤🏨
We had a corner room on the road side but it was a very quite room. Very clean. Two problems for me were I thought the lighting was inadequate. When you are away you want to look at guide books/maps but the lighting was too poor for this. Also my bedside lamp was not working and there was no one on hand that evening or even the next day to come and look at it. The most bizarre thing I have ever came across in my life I think and is the reason why I have marked it down one point is that there is a window looking into the bathroom/toilet from the room - why on earth would you have a window looking into this room, fair enough it you can pull a blind but there was no blind' The staff were marvellous and I thought went above and beyond when we realised we had not brought our Anne Frank printed ticket with us and they spent time on the phone with the museum sorting this out for us. The hotel is a way from the centre but the tram line makes it very easy to get in and out. So if you don't mind your partner looking into the bathroom whilst you are on the loo then I thoroughly recommend this.
