"Across the harbour from Hong Kong city"
This hotel is across the harbour from Hong Kong city, but everything in Hong Kong city is so accessible by MTR that it is worth it to stay here because the hotel is modern, efficient and has the amenities of large hotels. We did not use the pool, but went up to see it and would have used it if we had time. The rooms are large and clean and if you join the Club, there is a nice welcome snack on arrival. There are free bottles of water supplied so you don't have to go hunting for water. We had coffee and tea in our room - a nice touch that we always enjoy. The hotel is right on the promenade which leads to many attractions and shopping areas. A great walk. We ate at the restaurant a few times for breakfast - too expensive, but we enjoyed the food and the convenience.
"Very nice Hotel and fantastic views"
We had a very pleasant 2 nights stay at the Harbour Grand Kowloon. We initially booked the hotel basis value for money compared to same star hotels located more centrally which were substantially more expensive, so we were slightly concerned how far away from the centre we would be. We needn't have worried, as the hotel offers a very convenient shuttle bus that departs and returns regularly and was very easy to take. One of the nights we stayed in the centre after the last shuttle bus came back, but Taxi's are very reasonable in Hong Kong and its literally only a 5 minute ride. Hotel itself was very well maintained and rooms were very clean and had all normal amenities. We had a harbour view room, and the view was amazing. The Roof pool also offered fantastic views over the harbour and was lovely to take a couple of hours out of the day to chill out by the pool. Wifi was provided, but only 2 devices could be connected per room, which was slightly disappointing when one of our rooms had 3 of us staying, meaning that one of us could not connect to the Wifi. To have a limit on amount of devices was disappointing enough but to not be able to extend to at least allow all the guests one device each without incurring a charge was poor. That was my only gripe on an otherwise very nice stay in a lovely hotel. For Value for money alone I would return here when visiting Hong Kong and it really is not that far from the centre at all, so do not be put off by the same. Lovely Stay.
"Harbour Grand Hotel , Kowloon"
Great hotel in prime location near harbour. Genuinely friendly, helpful staff. Immense , quality choice of buffet breakfast and evening meals. Spacious well equipped rooms. Regular curtousy bus into town only 10 minutes away.
"Amazing Views of The Harbour"
For the view of the harbour, this hotel is 5* in terms of location. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi is spectacular, especially at sunset. The rooms themselves are average and not worth the cost per night, however they are very clean and the main areas of the hotel are very nice. We only eat at the waterfront restaurant once which was ok, not great. Therefore recommend going outside of the hotel for dining. Overall, it's a great hotel for location (right beside the MTR) with lots to see and do nearby, and most of the staff that we met along the way were very friendly and helpful.
"Good hotel in great location"
We used this hotel on a short stopover. It is in a good location a short walk from the MTR station or you can use the hotel shuttle to the Star Ferry. Our room was huge with a harbour view and was very comfortable. The rooftop pool is lovely with panoramic views of Hong Kong. The only downside was the lift maintenance going on during our stay which led to some long waits for a lift especially at busy times.
