"Run Down Rooms but Superb Service in Club Room"
We stayed three nights in Hong Kong at this "Mega hotel." It's a giant property, situated about five minutes drive from the Tsim Sha Tsui area of Kowloon. That doesn't sound like a bad location, and while the views of the harbor are indeed nice, it's really not possible to easily walk anywhere, so you're totally dependent on the hotel's shuttle service. I would prefer to have stayed at the YMCA Salisbury, but rooms were not available. At the Salisbury, or properties in that area, you can walk outside and find anything and everything going on. At the Harbour View Metropolis, you have a mall next door with a few restaurants and stores, but that's about it. For everything else, you stand out front and wait for the (surly) bus drivers to pick you up. The rooms themselves are tired. We stayed in a room on the 20th floor, which came with the Harbour Club access, and if it wasn't for that nice perk we would have given this property a 2-star rating. The room was expensive, and really really small. They squeezed a King Size bed into the room, but that's about all that would fit (and a desk). The room had a lot of nicks, dents and so forth and looked like it was ready for restoration about two years ago. But when we went to breakfast or for drinks at the Harbour Club, our views were changed dramatically. Great service, wonderful hostesses in the club room, and they get to know you and your preferences and they take good care of your drinks or snack needs. Wonderful views of the harbor from that room. All in all, I don't think I'd re-book here, but if I were going to, I'd make sure my room had Harbour Club access.
Had two nights here in January 2017, comfortable, clean and not expensive, it's close to the city centre and railway stations, a Disney trip is a must for all the family and it's cheap to get there via train
"Good location near the cruise terminal."
We used this hotel after our cruise out of Hong Kong and found it modern, convenient and very friendly. Free shuttle to the downtown area near the Peninsula and near the train station and malls. It is a long way to the airport, but shuttles are available. Small rooms but good size bathrooms.
"bath tub and bedding was good"
For celebrate birthday but hotel did not provide anything for us. little bit disappointed. Quite close with MTR station, the bath tub make me feel so relax, also, the bed was very comfortable that i can fall asleep easily.
"Overall average stay "
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in Hong Kong. Rooms were good and clean. Location was good. But did not get the premium feeling. Staff was ok . Breakfast was good. More of a business hotel than a leisure hotel.
