My husband and I stayed there from a March 8th to 13th. Looks impressive, reception staff helpful and bell boys very good. Room pretty good , we were on 15th floor overlooking the swimming pool and partial harbour view. Dining room staff very mediocre, coffee and tea cool and insipid. Nowhere to sit to lounge in the evening to have a drink. I asked for a pot of tea one afternoon and the young man Ricky who served me suggested I drink it outside as there was nowhere suitable to sit. It was around 20 degree, blowing a gale and highly polluted atmosphere. The sir conditioning was run far to cold, you needed your coat on. It is near the metro station so convenient. Would not recommend it and would not return to it.
"Nice enough hotel, but out of the main areas"
Location is a bit out of the main area which was a bit disappointing - although the shuttle bus to and from tst is useful (And when it's hotter maybe even better than having to walk from your hotel). Its also a good location for the colesium, polytechnic university , harbour crossing tunnel (and bus station to cross) and hung kom station which I believe takes you to mainland China. Rooms are a bit smaller than surrounding 5* hotels like royal garden & grand Stamford which also have a slightly more central location. Rooms feels slightly dated with space a bit smaller and things like extension cords used for electrical wires. I imagine view of harbour would be good if you got the right side. Breakfast buffet was good, nice airy eating area, lots of choice, really enjoyed and good service too.
"Mr Luck, Mr Greaney and Mr Bollard "
Great rooms, excellent service, special thanks to the excellent Candy and Karman in the Harbour Lounge on floor 21. Very customer focused and always willing to assist .. the food and drinks during cocktail time were replenished well. A great view of the harbour and a free shuttle service to tsim sha tsui . Rooms well maintained and cleaned.
"Value for money hotel"
The front office and house keeping staff are polite and efficient. Food also was good. Also they have a mall attached. Room was pretty small. The other drawback is the fact that it is located at quite a distance from the business district, though this is compensated by a very efficient, frequent and free drop and pickup provided by the hotel.
"Business trip Martin Coventry UK"
This was a well situated hotel with very good facilities. I liked it being slightly removed from the 'hustle and bustle' but within easy access to the MTR/HUNG HOM station. Myself and work colleagues have had great 10 day stay making full use of the Club Lounge which I would highly recommend. The panoramic view from the club lounge is spectacular! Manager Candy and Karmen were particularly efficient and attentive. Their service level/communication was of a high professional standard, making our stay more enjoyable! Working with HKPU this hotel was perfectly situated. A fantastic place to visit and I am looking forward to returning and staying here again.
