Is a fine hotel and offers you a lot of value against a competitive price. Rooms are well equipped not to big, but big for HK. The pool and the gym are fantastic. You don't have wifi in the rooms that is a minus. You do have free wifi in the park next to the hotel.Comment of D. Marco , Netherlands the 2016-01-19

"a good night break a Hong Kong"
Stayed here for a night break with my girlfriend. For a 5 stars hotel, the price was absolutely bargain. The room is very big ( according to Hong Kong standard), and everything is fine, although it is in boring style. Service is not good, the receptionist looks angry and not enjoyable. Location is good too, you can get anything in the shopping mall next door. I will stay here again.
"A good place if you dont mind spending an hour to get to any central location. "
This was an all girls trip in March 2016. #Nice The rooms are cozy and clean. Medium sized rooms but quite comfortable. The breakfast has a good spread though has more of chinese dishes. Ginza, rail station is just across the road and there is a bus depot 5 minutes away from the hotel. #Not so nice Ginza where the hotel is located is far away from the main city. This is more like a residential area. To get to any central /,tourist attraction you need to travel at least for an hour or more by MTR and have to change at least 2 to 3 lines. Wifi is available only in the restaurant or the lobby. #Recommended for Young backpackers, who have a lower budget. Friends, solo travellers. #Not recommended for family with children or elderly people due to its location.
"Bad dirty room, not clean."
In fact, is a very good hotel, again and again I stay here, opposite the hotel added the express airport buses, can save the taxi costs. I will not stay at the hotel during the peak season. The staff was too busy, so service standards slip
"Value for money"
Harbour Plaza Resort consists of two towers approx 200m apart both buildings fairly similar in there layout but tower one a little more dated in decor. Between the two towers is the plaza area with seating and runs down to the river with a park area which has Various activities for kids including a lake with toy power boats and toy car area etc. The Hotel offers both smoking and none smoking floors. The rooms are clean and spacious and we opted for a studio apartment which comes with a small kitchenette area ( hot plates,microwave,fridge/freezer) Large bed and sofa bed + table and chairs, air con efficient and controllable within room. Yes you can pay extra for in room WIFI but they now provide a free mobile phone in the room which is loaded with info of places to go and see and info on dinning in HK all these come with discounts ranging from 10> 20% The phone also allows you to use it as a WIFI hotspot and link your other devices to the Internet through this unit ( instructions are provided in the room) Each room also comes with a free secure safe free of charge. Behind each tower are shopping plaza's which you can basically purchase any item you require from slippers to food and medicines or even a haircut. There is also a large multiplex cinema. Although this hotel is in the new territories and about an hour away from HK island it is definitely value for money and a fraction of the price of hotels closer. If you want relaxed quite accommodation this is the place, if your prepared to travel to see the sights. If you are looking to relax by the pool be aware only tower 2 has this facility so make sure when booking you know which tower you are in. ( booking.com don't make this info clear) The light rail station is just outside tower 2 and provides easy access to the rest of HK via links to the MTR. As everyone else said the first thing to do when arriving in HK is get yourselves an octopus card and use this for travel etc. You can top these up at any 7/11 or McDonald's and many other stores. Keeping track of credit on this is easy as each time you use it your remaining credit will be shown or you can also download the app and buy your own card reader kit so you can check it.
