Comment of V. Eva , Spain the 2016-02-22
"Wedding Anniversary "
Booked the Winter Special offer as a treat for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Excellent facilities in a great location for all the attractions. Lovely clean room, friendly staff, nice meal in Blakes restaurant. Would definitely stay again.
"Late Christmas get away"
Treated hubby as he is a massive Beatles fan and wow what a lovely hotel friendly staff clean rooms, the shower was ace, great breakfast and totally dedicated to the Beatles. It's a must if your a Beatles fan. Tea/coffee in the room too.
"Music lover's central."
This has to be among the top hotels to stay in Liverpool, from arrival to departure the staff where absolutely a credit to the hotel. Polite, pleasant, helpful and very friendly with a truly warm welcome. The room was fantastic, relaxing and laid out well with a very large comfortable bed. Could have gone for the John and Yoko love in for give peace a chance here, complete with a portrait of John above the head of the bed! Breakfast was a bit pricey, over £15 without the welcome offer of £10, so only had the one breakfast here especially as if you walk around the corner into Mathew street and just past the Cavern, there is a cafe offering full English for less than £4. The hotel is situated in a great spot with plenty of shopping, clubbing/drinking establishments (Day & nightlife abound) and restaurants including the hotel iteself having lots to offer, all within a couple of minutes walk of the main entrance. The waterfront and Mersey ferries are a 5 minute walk away, as are the free museums, art galleries and other attractions and sites of interest. This is probably the best 3 nights away we have enjoyed for a long time. We will be back without a doubt and hopefully, sooner rather than later!
"Mums 70 th"
Stayed here in may 2016 , what a fantastic hotel.firstly the rooms at all Beatles theamed downstairs in the bar there's live music ,acuestic mainly Liverpudlian fantastic. Just around the corner from the cavern club ,if you're a Beatles fan this is a must but also is the casbah coffee club, which is Pete bests mums house ,all in all fantastic hotel in a fantastic city .
"Great Hotel for Beatles Fans!"
Beautiful hotel, lovely comfortable rooms. Breakfast was served in Blakes Restaurant and there was plenty of choice with lots of staff on hand constantly replenishing stocks. We had drinks in Bar Four which we thoroughly enjoyed, listening to of course, Beatles tracks softly playing in the background. The hotel is in a great position, very centrally located for shopping, bars, restaurants, Albert Dock just a walk away and of course the Cavern Club just yards away. However, if you are expecting a quiet night, don't book a room on a Saturday night at the front of the hotel! Music was playing in Mathew Street until almost 4am and it could be heard quite clearly, along with the traffic and the taxi rank right outside. (The argument between drunkards at 4am was quite entertaining !) All that said, what do you expect, right in the middle of a vibrant city so close to the most popular bars and clubs. So it didn't spoil our stay. Would we stay again' I'm sure we would, we would just request a quiet room away from Mathew Street.
