"It is just OK"
Rooms are really very big as bathrooms as well, but still need a lot of arrangements. More attention to be paid to the room cleaning especially during the dusty days. Bathrooms should be supplied with more tools that are very essential fr every guest.
"NOT A 5 STAR Hotel !!!!!!"
The room is old and stained ... carpet is stained in more than one place .... tge curtains are very old with visible stains ... the walls need new paint .... the cushions are stained with what seem to be blood or chocolate , i thought when they see it they will remove it but they kept on the couch Breakfast buffet is below average ... pancakes were stale and like rubber .... chocolate sauce was really bad ... the eggs even the ones freshly made were not good .... other foods taste was also not good ... not much variety... presentation is dull and many dishes used the same utensils for serving and when i asked for clean ones they told me to just use from the other plate.... coffee and tea is not served on the table .... the water is in a plastic bottle and they put only one bottle and when its finished thhey get another one and u have to wait When we asked to have our breakfast in the room they said they will charge us for it ... we stayed for 6 nights only had breakfast twice ... i stayed in many hotels 3,4 and 5 stars and this was the first time my request was denied There is no remivable shower head in the shower... no robe and slipper as i would expect any 5 star hotel to offer Kids area is very small with 2 swings and one slide and no place for the parents to sit NO Wifi in the room !!!!!!!!!
Family place that is soo quite and surrounded by a park for family and kids. Nicly designed and structured. Room are good size and price is acceptable. They need to add more resturants and different options.
"I wouldn't stay in a Helnan hotel again"
I arrived at the hotel to be met by a receptionist who was friendly but clearly inexperienced. She asked me to pay when the company had already paid and then informed me there was no wifi in the rooms and I would need to use it in the common areas. Being there for work I wasn't impressed and fortunately one of her colleagues stepped in and offered a router in the room (which worked perfectly). The room was large but naff, the rooms are outdated and could do with modernising. They were also noisy - I could hear everyone outside in the corridor and the breakfast was OK but nothing special. The staff were friendly but I was very happy to check out at the end of my stay. I wouldn't bother booking a Helnan hotel again.
"Need massive improvements for a 5 star hotel! "
We stayed in this hotel from 16th to 19th Feb (4 days and 3 nights) and as soon as I checked in the room I was skeptical if its a 5 Star Hotel. The room was dirty, the television was like an antique unknown brand of 32 inch or less in size, the toilet and bathroom does not appear to be well maintained and cleaned. Oh wait, I forgot to mention that there is no Wifi in room! They only have LAN connection. Wifi is only available in lobby and public arrears. Seriously 5 Star hotel does not provide Wifi in room' That was shocking.The size of the room was not bad though. The breakfast was very very average and being an egg lover, I must say their Scramble egg is one of the worst I have eaten. The pastries were ok but the cakes were really dry and lack of taste. The waiters in the morning didnt bother asking us if we would like to be served with coffee or tea but I noticed other tables were offered (maybe due to baksheesh). Thats fine, we decided not to leave any tips for them because of low quality service in the morning. The waiters during dinner was good though and I have no complaints about the service except for the average food. The real low light of this trip was our rooms were always missing with towels when we come in tired after our tours (happened 2 days in a row) . The worst part is they take ages just to send the towels when we complained! Honestly speaking this Hotel deserve only 1 star but after our review in one of the social media while still staying there, Mr. Nabil (Marketing Manager) gave us a call immediately, took our complaint very seriously and decided to upgrade our room to Suite. This was the only reason I gave a 2 star review. We however didnt see a reason to shift as we need to check out early morning so he offered us complimentary dinner instead. Food was average but the complimentary dinner I must say a highlight. It was a good gesture to ensure we have at least some positive vibes during our stay. However, honestly saying, this is definitely NOT a 5 Star hotel, at most I would give it 4 Star reluctantly. Some suggestions, 1. Improve your housekeeping and when I say improve, i mean you REALLY have to improve their attitude! 2. The food really need to improve! 3. Train your waiters not provide service based on tips. Tips will surely given if the service is up to standard! 4. The regional F&B manager should do an uninformed spot check in the morning to check the quality of food. If he did not find any problem, change your F&B manager. Or ask him to stay in other 5 Star hotel chain and try their breakfast! Thank you.
