The Hilton Atlanta is located in downtown Atlanta, only 15 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, this hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to many Atlanta city centre attractions.
Good quality for the price paid. Poor Internet Service in the rooms. Helpful staff, clean rooms and overall good experience. It is located close to the main attractions of the city as well as to various of means of transportation.
"Nice Hotel, a little off the path"
We stayed here for a conference at the Georgia World Congress Center, which was about a 15 minute walk up a hill and down a hill. The hotel itself was mid-renovation but very nice. The room was spacious and had cool features like a heated bathroom mirror and floor lights for getting up in the middle of the night. The Tiki Bar downstairs was a strange little place. Maybe it was the terrible Mai-Tais, but we didn't enjoy it. The rooftop restaurant, on the other hand, was really cool, even if for just a drink. I've included a picture of our view from our room. I will say the breakfast buffet, while delicious, was pricey. Most of the food items in the hotel are highly priced.
"Great location. "
Stayed here for a conference for my wife's job. The hotel was very nice and the staff were all very kind and there to help with anything that you needed. The hotel is centrally located and within a 10-15 minute walk of almost anything you could want to do.
Food from the last guest was left rotting in the fridge for me to dispose of. Shower alternates between unbelievably hot and unbelievably cold. Spent nearly 30 minutes trying to get the water to an acceptable temperature. Wanted room made up and no one answered the line when I dialed housekeeping or the operator. Many outlets in the room do not work....terrible customer service at reception desk and restaurants....very unprepared for the huge flow of guests from various conferences and the SEC playoffs. Will NEVER stay here again.
"High in Georgia"
Although the hotel lobby and pool/hot tub was undergoing renovation when I stayed there for 4 nights in November, the open, airy, easy luxury of the Hilton was inviting, soothing, and comfortable. The elevators were plentiful and fast, the restaurant and store in the lobby convenient, and the views out of the generous windows fantastic. Bathroom space was a little tight, but room felt spacious with thoughtful appointments. It is connected by sky walk to adjacent Marriot (which makes the Hilton suffer a little by comparison) which in turn is connected to restaurants and shopping. This hotel fits into the luxury class, just barely, but it does.
