"A Premium Brand With A Disappointing Experience For The Business Client"
Breakfast buffet selection below average. No air conditioning. Room temperature was extremely uncomfortable. Thermostat was disconnected so adjustment was impossible. Business lounge was inferior. Wifi was terrible, and this is a deal breaker. Sending and receiving mail, was at times, difficult. Really' For the room prices charged asking a guest to pay for workable wifi is passed'. Stay in cheaper hotels and the wifi is free and superior to Beijing Hilton. I will blog about this as I cannot be a goodwill ambassador to the shortcomings at the Beijing Hilton. Improvement is necessary.
"Nice Area, Clean, Friendly Staff, Excellent Executive Lounge "
Nice hotel and well located. The hotel is well kept, but could use some renovating. The staff is very friendly, Helpful and accommodating. The staff in the Executive Lounge was friendly and helpful, and the food selections during the nightly reception and morning breakfast were very good. The only area for improvement would be to for the staff to be more responsive in picking up dirty plates so there is room for more clean ones. Would recommend the hotel for Americans and we would stay here again.
"Concierge is nice, average business hotel"
Make sure to double check the address! I found it on Google and it led me to the US embassy. I was able to walk from the embassy over bit definitely inconvenient. The location is alright if you're here for diplomatic stuff, or even nearby the party district. Quite far from the tourist sites, but taxis in Beijing are super cheap. Nothing really stood out about the hotel, just a typical business class hotel. They do have a friendly concierge staff to help you get taxis and direct the driver exactly where you want to go.
"Excellent Hotel in great location"
This is a very comfortable hotel with great beds and pillows (if somewhat soft pillows...first work problem!!) and rooms are spacious and very clean. Quiet hotel, though one should ask for an "Embassy view" room as car honking noise can be bothersome on side of hotel facing Third Ring. Great buffet, okay Internet, and through no fault of the hotel at all...NONE OF YOUR GOOGLE STUFF will work in China. No Gmail, no Facebook and no Google search. If staying more than a day or,two, with forward your emails to another service like hotmail, or purchase a VPN like VPN Shield.... But, anyway...the hotel is excellent. Staff is very helpful, and I would definately recommend to anyone
After the hustle and bustle of Beijing, walking into this hotel each night was like coming home. It is a luxury hotel, smells glorious, good beds, pillows too soft- ask for a third- the staff was helpful and friendly. Location was good, good restaurants near by. I would confidently recommend this to anyone..
