"Quality Hotel, Convenience, Professional Staff"
I have stayed at this Hilton hotel for at least 20 times over the past few years for business. This hotel is a top notch hotel, with great professional staff. They really make you feel welcomed, and want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are functional for me to do my work, and comfortable for resting. I've used the gym over the years. About 2 or 3 years ago the gym went through a needed renovation, and there is plenty of equipment to get a great workout. The hotel is within walking distance to a subway station (Line 10), which can easily take you to different lines for transfers. There is also usually taxis waiting, and the staff will help you communicate with the taxi driver to get you to your destination.
"Beijing Hilton Continues to Perform"
I first stayed at the Beijing Hilton about 3 years ago and now it has become my "must stay" hotel when I am in Beijing. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is always very helpful. They make sure that you are happy with your experience. The Executive lounge is nice comfortable area to relax during the evening reception or have a full breakfast including cooked-order-eggs. Who could ask for more! When in Beijing I would highly recommend the Beijing HIlton.
"Comfortable and friendly hotel, but look out for the extras"
The Executive Tower of the hotel is comfortable, and the food and drink in the Executive Lounge are reasonable. Service is quite good. But their extras are very expensive: about £70 for an airport transfer (which takes under 30 minutes in reasonable traffic) and £8 to launder a shirt. The buffet lunch in their main restaurant presently available (the other one is being refurbished) is tasty but was cold when I ate their at 12.30 pm one day. There are very few shops near the hotel.
Generally, Hilton Beijing is a very good hotel to stay in Beijing, most employee in hotel were warmly and helpfully. Hotel located in diplomatic area, near Malaysia, Israel, and US embassy. Its a nice place to do business, travel, or vacation. I will continue choosing Hilton Beijing as my premier hotel in Beijing, and hope Hilton Beijing could keep this high quality service in the future.
"What happened to this hotel'"
I used to stay at this hotel frequently and for longer periods in 2013 and 2014. I have always loved the hotel, its service and its staff. On a shorter stay a year ago, the staff at the lounge could even remember me after a year of absence. So I made sure to book the Hilton Beijing again on my recent stopover. Well, things have changed. I am not sure why, maybe there was a change in management. The staff at the Executive Lounge lack the caring attitude they used to have before. The service became very uninvolved. I always loved the variety of magazines and newspapers available. No longer so. When I left the lounge, nobody wished me a nice evening. The staff was busy chatting with each other. Also the service in the room was downgraded. There is no longer a turn down service in the evening. I got a fruit platter, but no knife to peel the orange. The reading light on one side of the bed didn't work. And most frustrating, the internet (whether wifi or plug-in) became sooooo slow, it is impossible to have any work done. Not even watching a show through my home TV station's website works anymore. It definitely did work two years ago. I am not sure I would book this hotel again on my next trip to Beijing.
