"Disappointed and Gouged"
Our original plan was to stay one night only, 3/14-3/15 as we had an early morning flight. With the impending storm forecast for Tuesday, we decided to come to the airport early and stay an additional night. I called the hotel and they were able to amend our stay to come a day early. I was pleased to find out that our hotel room was available the additional night. Unfortunately, I was told that they would not be able to offer the same room at the same rate. The original rate (pre tax) was $259, but the additional day would be $350 (pre tax) and was non-refundable based upon the time I called. I attempted to negotiate the same price, but the clerk would not even discuss it. I find this to be very unfair based upon the bad weather that caused the airport to close. I also had all my meals at the Hilton Restaurant, so the day and a half visit cost me over $1,000.I would hope that Hilton would try to make sort of restitution. Please note that the cable television was out a major portion of the day during the blizzard. I can only imagine how families dealt with it.
"Good Business Hotel "
I've been here a few times in 2017 and it's a good, convenient hotel if you need to be near the airport. If you're a frequent Hilton traveler, it's a pretty standard Hilton. Rooms and spaces are clean and well kept for the most part. Only complaint would be that the bed linens are a little on the coarse side, might be time to upgrade those.
"Too pricey for what you get"
There were only two people at the check-in desk, despite a line of at least 5 guests, waiting to check-in. The day before, I'd called to confirm I'd have a room near an elevator (I have difficulty walking) and was assured that would be the case. The room I was given was as far from the elevator as you can get and this is a big hotel with long hallways. I asked for another room and was given one very close to the elevator (why hadn't they done this in the first place'). In my new room, I tried to get online but I didn't have the required passcode. That's when I learned the phone next to the bed didn't work. I called the front desk and got the passcode and reported the phone. Then headed to the lounge for a drink and some food. Nice ambiance, but the cost for everything was triple what you'd find elsewhere. The bed was comfortable and I didn't hear planes taking off or landing, so that part was good. But given the price (over $400 for one night, including food) it would have been nice to have everything go as expected instead of having to get them to fix things.
My fiance and I chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the airport and we were not disappointed. We only had one day in Boston and we were able to get to the city easily by water taxi and then to the airport for our flight (both by the complimentary shuttle service). We booked a corner room on the 7th floor and had the most spectacular view of the city. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, the coffee selection great, and the toiletries were of a good quality. I am becoming quite a fan of Hilton hotels and I plan to stay here again. Pros: -pet friendly -complimentary shuttle to/from airport and nearby locations -spacious rooms -wonderful views -restaurant onsite Cons: Can't think of any!
"Worse Airport Hotel ever"
Love Bell captain and the helper in Executive Lounge the rest of the hotel stinks. Awful customer service, rooms are run down out of repair. for paying 300/night just to catch a flight I should have amazing service since I stay here every other week. Over the bad service. I am a Diamond member so I precheck in and use a digital key so never even bother the front desk this should be a no brainier. The vents in their bathrooms are nasty, broken faucets and toilets that run all night maintenance does not bother to fix until another guest complains at midnight then you wake me up final straw no internet on my last stay when I had a deadline to meet for work.
