Hilton Brussels Grand Place is ideally located, in Brussels City Centre, very close to the Grand Place, the Palais des Congres and the Central Station. Cultural and historical attractions, shopping, bars, restaurants and lively entertainment are within easy reach. Hilton Brussels Grand Place offers direct access by railway to the International Airport and to the TGV/Eurostar and Thalys terminal.
"Room not ready; hot room"
Room was not ready for 2 pm checkin until 430pm; room temp was uncomfortably hot and furniture upholstery was worn/ torn. Shower leaked onto floor like a sieve and front desk did nothing to fix these issues despite complaints. Breakfast, concierge, fitness center and location were outstanding.
The location of this hotel was amazing. We were able to walk to everything from here and even had a partial view of the grand place square from our room. The staff is helpful and accommodating, and the rooms are large, clean and super comfy beds. Highly recommend!
"Nice hotel, Great location"
Great location as it is so easy to get there directly by train from the airport. This location is very central to Brussels, you can walk to almost any area very quickly from there. Overall service provided by staff was very good. Staff were friendly and helped easily with all requests. The overall standard of furnishings and cleanliness of the hotel is up to the usual Hilton standards. Our room was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. If I should return to Brussels I can see no reason why I would not stay here again.
On paper this hotel is perfect - close to the central station and main tourist area of Brussels. However, my room was ridiculously hot to the extent that it was impossible to sleep (reception said the in-room heating is controlled centrally and could not be changed over to cooling). The windows are locked as standard and you have to request them to be opened (and sign a disclaimer that you will not jump!). Even so, open windows makes no difference and instead you are bombarded by the noise of sirens, cars and party-goers. I think this must be a scam so that you drink the 50cl small bottles of water in the mini bar at an extortionate €4 each (even Starbucks in the station will sell you a 1.5 litre bottle for €2.80). At least the WiFi works. Don't expect to be able to get in the executive lounge if you are diamond member like me. It's packed full and so tiny that there is no room to sit. Don't expect a room upgrade either as you won't get it. There is no place to plug in your phone charger (e.g. near your bed). Breakfast service is poor and over-run (I asked for a Decaf Tea and was given a Coffee!). For the amount paid total disaster. Avoid. Go to the Sofitel, Aqua or Thon EU instead.
"Good Hotel at a Good Place"
Stayed here in early February for a holiday. Location is perfect - it is right across the Central Station so if you are arriving by train this is ideal. Many bus exchange in front of this hotel. Hop on hop of also start in front of the hotel. Grand Place is 2 minutes walk so this hotel has a perfect location. A grocery store is right beside the hotel while all restaurants are also there behind the hotel. The check in was quick and easy, the reception is helpful. The room is huge with all amenities you need in a hotel. Highly recommended and will surely be back!
