Hilton Brussels Grand Place is ideally located, in Brussels City Centre, very close to the Grand Place, the Palais des Congres and the Central Station. Cultural and historical attractions, shopping, bars, restaurants and lively entertainment are within easy reach. Hilton Brussels Grand Place offers direct access by railway to the International Airport and to the TGV/Eurostar and Thalys terminal.
It is a hotel located near the Grand Place and right in front of the Brussels central station. It is closed to the major touristic attractions and restaurants. What I found really good was the warm welcome received by the reception personnel during the check-in...friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are big, comfortable and quite providing a good sleep and rest.
"Excellent Central Hotel"
We stayed here for 2 nights for a visit to the Christmas markets We stayed in a deluxe King room and found the room to be a good size very clean and an excellent size bathroom The shower did leak on to the floor as the doors dident close properly but other than that we couldnt fault the room at all The location is fantastic for the Grand Place Market, and all other central attractions and excellent location for the Christmas markets This hotel right at the Brussels Central railway which is easy we booked our train tickets online and found it very eassy to traverl from airport by train and cost 40 euros for 2 people return There is a nice bar and a small restaurant, along with a breakfast restaurant which was nice The breakfast was of good quality but a bit unorganised and staff were very busy and took a while to get a hot drink or any assistance but the food was wonderful There is a taxi stand stand in the street right behind the hotel so taxi's are never a problem. Overall this a nice hotel Stayed December 2016, travelled as a couple
"Excellent Staff !"
The staff here were impressive ! They are truly trained well, professional and even the younger staff were quite mature and diligent. The breakfast staff were the most outstanding, having stayed an entire week, we came to see them everyday. The leader is a wonderful Italian lady called Antonella. She came to our table each day and others tables as well, asking about coffee, eggs, waffles. And soon it would arrive. She keeps an eye on all, she is amazing and does with her heart. The staff are around, not intrusive but watching to see what is needed. There is Louise at the front seating everyone. Other staff were Veronica, Petre, and Younes, they were wonderful. In the executive lounge, outstanding staff were a lead, Cliff, Tsao, Roberto, Alex, Saber and David. They are truly on the move making sure everything is out and prepared, and tending to all guests. Polite and offering to assist guest, loving what they are doing. At the front desk, a leader is Lien. She is full of enthusiasm and helped to solve some issues. We give credit to their General Manager Mr Bursink who has done wonderfully hiring and managing them.
"High quality centrally located business hotel"
Formerly Le Meredien. Very well located for Central Station and close to the Grand Place. Clean modern rooms. Breakfast is buffet style but plenty of choice. Rooms are of a good size with comfy beds and good bathrooms. I have stayed here several times.
"Excellent Location - but homeless problem"
We stayed here one night only and upgraded to a suite which was very nice. The location is fantastic for the Grand Place Market, although there are other hotels right in the action. This one is right at the Brussels Central railway which is easy. Taxi from the airport was 60 Euros where the train would have been 8 each, but taxi was more convenient due to luggage. This is quite a nice hotel although it could do with a little repair in places - my shower dripped ALL night, which would have kept me awake if it wasn't drowned out by the noise from the homeless people camped next to the hotel and yelled at or to each other frequently. I could here them on the 5th floor with double glazed windows. Our taxi driver warned us that they could be aggressive in asking for handouts but we didn't encounter anyone. There is a nice bar and a small restaurant, along with a breakfast restaurant which appears to double as the club lounge. There is a taxi stand stand in the street right behind the hotel so taxi's are never a problem. Overall a nice hotel with a couple of minor drawbacks.
