Really nice hotel with amazing view. Very clean, the breakfast perfect, very polite stuff. You must walk 20 minutes for downtown but that is not something negative for me. The gym is cozy but a little small. In the negatives the spa absence. In the positives the wine cellar taste bar. I recommend it.
"Hotel with soul"
Very interesting modern hotel in the same time showing old town style. Staff nice and helpful. You must eat in the restaurant- view is just incredible ! Delicious breakfast, many varieties. Everyone will find something good there. Garage a little small but they assisted us which was helpful because we had a pretty big car.
"Amazing Service in an amazing setting!"
I took my girlfriend to stay at this hotel for three nights to celebrate our engagement and her Birthday. I had emailed ahead to advise the staff of this and asked for it to be made as special as possible. It did not disappoint! By a couple of simply emails I managed to arrange to have a taxi driver waiting for us at the airport to take us to the hotel, this was reasonably priced. We were upgraded to the executive floor with access to the lounge and had a bottle of Prossecco, cake, fruit, water and cheeses brought to the room for us. The room was beautiful and was cleaned daily. The reception staff were helpful in assisting us to plan our day and the bell boy brought our bags to the room and always opened taxi doors upon arrival. Breakfast was really good with a wide selection and AMAZING views of the river and castle district. On the day of my girlfiends actual birthday we reserved a table for breakfast and were again presented with another cake (which was really nice) and a large firework candle. All the staff in the executive lounge and bar were very helpful and friendly and the fact the hotel is set in an old castle style building really adds character despite how modern it is. The views were incredible and there is a bus stop just outside that takes you into town in 10 minutes. I would recommend a Budapest card if you want to save your legs of the walk. We did a mixture of all modes of transport as well as walking and all are easy to use. Both the hotel and city in gerneral have amazing food and drinks with breath taking scenary and I would definately reccomend to anyone. Very cold in January but 100% worth wrapping up warm for.
Nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable. Food is good and has many varieties. I stayed one week and i had good time. You can walk and discover Budapest historical buildings and many more attractions by starting from the hotel...
"Cheeky weekend away"
Actually booked a Jet 2 city break to Budapest. The Hotel is in the old part of the city but actually beautiful. We were upgraded to a nice room as there were some building works going on.Staff were really helpful Breakfast was included in the package and it was lovely. dining room had views over the river looking at Parliament building. It got up to -22 when we were there but hotel and rooms were warm. We organised a guide for Sunday who drove us around and showed us the City which he was very proud of and he was very knowledgeable . Well worth doing as Hotel and City were great
