"A good experience"
I have to say that service is their best. They realy do an effort to satisfy their clients: speak english, ask if you need help, have a positive behaviour, we can find all kind of ages within the staff and still maintain the same service and company culture (excellent).
"Weekend of Rest & Peace"
I have stayed in this hotel many times, solo and with family. I love the location, the fact that a shopping center is next to it and with a good walk you can see most of the sites. Very clean and very peaceful, what I am always looking for. Breakfast is awesome.
"Budapest Hilton City"
Great location, great staff, convenient. Executive lounge and gym are great and offer excellent views of city. Location connected to WestEnd Mall offers shopping, dining and movies; even on Sunday (rare for Europe)!
"Two night business stay"
Stayed here for two nights last week. Good location, and attached to a shopping mall so plenty of options. Nice professional welcome, and recognised as an hhonors member. Good spacious room, very clean and well maintained, with large TV and good selection of programmes. Comfy bed with nice linen. Good curtains so dark at night and pretty good sound insulation. Slept well. Bath and separate walk in shower so best of both worlds. Breakfast buffet very good and friendly professional staff working hard to keep tables tidy. Would definitely stay here again when next in Budapest
"Four nights in Budapest"
We started 2017 with a short stay in Budapest. I booked directly on the Hilton website, dong this you get exactly the same price as doing via internet hotel sites but you always get a little extra plus you are always sure everythying is correct. First: easy access from the airport. Take bus 200E (350ft) to the terminus at Kobaniya kispest. Then take tram N°3 (350ft again) and stop a Nyugati palyaudvar. Hilton is only 100m away from station. From this station, you can go everywhere in Budapest. But you can also walk to St Itsvan basilica or to Andrassy street. Nice welcome from desk staff. I booked 2 rooms and we were both upgraded to superior rooms. Hotel is modern with no charm but this is most of the time what you expect from Hilton. Rooms: nice and clean. Extremely comfortalbe bed (and very large). Double glazzing windows, but you can still hear a bit street noise (mostly when there is an ambulance, but hopefully this is not often). Good quality curtains, you can get a dark room. Bathroom: quite large with shower and tub. Very clean. Available devices: kettle with coffee and tea, ironing set, hair dryer, TV set, mini bar. Plugs available on the desk for your camero, pad or PC. Wifi ok, for free. Gym: located on 4th floor with nice view. All machines are Fitness life except, of course, rawing machine that is K2. 3 running mills, 2 cycles, 3 ellipters plus machines, around 10) to do some body building excercises. Free weights available. There is also a sauna (I didn't try), lockers, towels and water. For those who like to jog, Margrit island is just 1,6km (1 mile) away. On the island there is a specific running track that is around 6km long. Very nice and peaceful. One negative comment: we gave some postcards to hotel desk and the day after they were still there. It's a pity there is no mailbox in the hotel lobby. I do not comment breakfast or restaurant as we didn't try them.
