No hot water - otherwise nice hotel. Mutiple attempsts by staff to resolve. Not what we had expected- especially after A day at the rugby. Location ok and hotel is new- overall secor of rooms is good but let down by the issue
Very helpful and friendly staff help make this a great hotel.A short walk to bus stop enables a cheap way into town.A fantastic breakfast sets you up for the day.The courtesy bus to and from the airport takes the stress out of travelling and the drivers are always a good craic.
"Another Wonderful Hilton Hotel"
When we travel to Europe, we stay our last night near the airport and in a major chain hotel like Hilton. It is always nice to end with a comfortable bed, front desk speaks English (well of course we're in Ireland) and a free ride to get to the airport on time. Well this Hilton Hotel met every check mark and exceeded. Shauna was so pleasant, welcoming and friendly greeting us at the front desk. She figured out how we could print our boarding passes, change the printer designation in print settings, gave us perfect rooms and signed us up for the airport transfer the next morning. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. We had the fabulous breakfast buffet to include cooked to order eggs and pancakes. Everything was seamless from start to finish, as Hilton has always done for us. I'm not sure how one gets into Dublin on public transportation from this hotel, but getting to and from the airport was effortless. I would highly recommend this airport hotel.
"Good airport hotel. HHonors Elite Members take note - Minimum Benefits Offered."
Good 4 star hotel in the vicinity of Dublin Airport - it isn't the nearest. The hotel does what it says on the tin. The airport shuttle runs on a schedule but isn't very frequent. The hotel treats guests well. What I feel is deficient is how they recognise/reward HHonors Elite members. I checked in with HHonors App for this stay. The app says that the property will do its best to offer an upgrade. On arrival, the room I selected was the room I got. I knew there were suites on sale that evening so I enquired about the possibility of an upgrade. I was offered a family room. It is larger in size, but nothing else. Like many Hilton properties across the UK & Ireland, welcome drinks are now gone. In the absence of an Executive Lounge, this is the least they could do. Lastly, I was offered breakfast as a HHonors elite amenity. I pointed out to the check-in agent that my room rate actually included breakfast on this occasion. No alternative offer was made. All in all, the second worse offer I've ever received as a Diamond member. We were only staying one night, so not hugely disadvantaged. HHonors Gold and Diamond members take note - this property gives elite members then bare minimum. Expect nothing and you will not be disappointed.
"Breakfast visit "
I'm going to give this hotel a 5* for drop in breakfast. We just stopped for breakfast and it was damn good at a very good price. We'll be coming back and maybe trying other Hiltons when out and about
