"Amazing staff...truly made our first visit to Ireland unforgettable!"
I wish I would have written this review immediately after our stay so that I could thank all of the individuals by name who made our stay so amazing! STAFF- We were there for our honeymoon (eleven nights total) and we enjoyed every second. We arrived around 10 am, exhausted after our flight, and did not expect our room to be ready. When we went to the front counter to drop off our luggage the staff immediately did everything they could to get us a room. We went to the bar/restaurant to wait (we were expecting to wait at least three hours) for our room and as soon as our server realized it was our honeymoon we were given free drinks. Granted, it was 10 am and we had not slept in 24 hrs but we both enjoyed our very first Guinness in Ireland. The entire staff was cheerful, helpful and very empathetic to our needs. We had a room within thirty minutes. We were there for five nights then we left for Galway and returned for six more nights. When we returned from Galway the staff noticed I was sick and without my request, they brought a hot toddy to my room and checked on us from time to time. I can't say enough good things about the staff. They certainly went above and beyond for us not because they had to but because they wanted to. HOTEL- the property is modern and clean. We spent many nights in the bar/restaurant area. They have a lovely area set up outside with comfy seating and outdoor heaters when needed. The breakfast was excellent with lots of options for all breakfast lovers! I ate Brie every morning with my eggs, sausage and fruit. In my opinion, it was breakfast heaven. LOCATION- once you have a good idea of how Dublin is set up, the location of the hotel seems perfect. It is two quick tram stops (or a 15 minute walk) away from Stephens Green. Once you get to Stephens Green you are either in walking distance to most things or you have the convenient option to catch the "hop on, hop off" bus which will bring you to every famous tourist attraction. We loved everything about our stay and look forward to our next visit!
Great location right beside the Luas tram service which will leave you into the city center in less than 5 minutes or 15 minutes to the Dundrum town center. The hotel is well presented and laid out with helpful directions to all its amenities. The rooms are of excellent quality with all modern conditions.
Wonderful, right off the light rail. Great food, breakfast is great, everyone super nice. Have stayed twice now. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. If you are older make sure you get an accessible room there is a big step into the shower / tub, and it's easy to slip. There are renovations on the first floor, I stayed on the second floor you would not even know there were renovations.
"Can't go wrong with a Hilton in Dublin!"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and we enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. The hotel is very modern and sleek. Our room was overlooking the water. The hotel is by the Tram stop, but we didn't use it because we pretty much walked everywhere. It's not too far of a walk to the city centre if you don't mind walking. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The check-in and out process were fairly easy. The hotel offers breakfast for a surcharge which isn't too bad, it's all you can eat breakfast and it tasted rather good. We've definitely come back and stay here the next time we visit Dublin.
Our daughter booked us a stay at the Hilton for Christmas we had a lovely relaxing time comfortable bed we were in a deluxe room recommend upgrading to this as it is only a few euro more. The staff were friendly it is close to tram an excellent choice and will definitely go back
