"2 Night Stay"
Just a quick review of this hotel as I stayed there for 2 nights whilst at a conference. Check in was quick and simple, the hotel atrium is very nice. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower large, hot and with good pressure. The service by the bar staff was fantastic, very attentive and remembered order from one night to the next. I would very much stay here again if I returned to Frankfurt.
"My stay was just OK but unfortunately not more..."
I stayed there recently for a business trip and while the location of the hotel is great and the staff was friendly, my room was facing the inner courtyard and had only one power plug in the whole room. It was also near the elevators and you could hear every door closing on the hallway. Fortunately I asked for earplugs and they had them. Considering what I paid just for sleeping there, I would think there are better alternatives in town....
"A typical Hilton hotel - perfectly adequate"
My husband and I stayed for one night at the end of November 2016 to visit the Christmas market. We chose this hotel because it was right in the centre of the city and within 5-10 mins walking distance from the markets. It was also reasonably priced. Our room was large, well lit, clean and comfortable. They could do more with the room given its size. The TV worked well and had all the main UK channels. The hotel is on a quiet street but you can hear sirens occasionally. My only issue was with the shower as the temperature of the water went up and down every few seconds which was pretty annoying. I would have asked for someone to look at it if I was staying longer than one night. For gym-goers, there is a Fitness First next door and hotel guests can use it free of charge. My husband used it and tells me that it was a nice gym with up-to-date equipment. We didn't eat breakfast there as the price didn't see worth it (an extra £40 per night). There is a Starbucks 3 mins away and the main shopping street 5 mins away. The reception staff were friendly and spoke good English. No issues there. All in all, the hotel was fine, nothing fancy, just clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.
"During the week nice hotel, on weekend nights a rough crowd is in the hotel bar."
The Hotel has all the usual Hilton perks and quality. The bar attached plays loud music that draws a rough crowd on weekend nights. Extra security is put on, guests are question when entering the hotel.
"Good decor, but service could be much better"
The location is perfect. The rooms are large and good size, however, the bed was very uncomfortable and gave me back pains. No slippers in room, however, they were happy to provide an extra pillow when requested. The gym is open to the public which makes it too busy to use for hotel guest. The breakfast was a joke for €30 per person! The selection was not great, and there was no tea or eggs for 20 minutes, at 10am. The breakfast welcome staff were rude and the waiter staff were clueless, and unhelpful. This is not a 5* hotel. They are inflexible for late checkout, even for Hilton Honours members. Disappointed with the service.
