"Good and safe place to stay in Lima"
Almost all the hotels for foreigners are in Miraflores anyway. The Hilton is a very good one from the brand including well trained staff, good facilities, the club lounge (surprisingly good breakfast) including 3 free meals a day plus dinner drinks. It has a small roof top pool with views towards the ocean. 30 minute car ride to Lima's main square which I'd suggest for the afternoon and for the sunset to see all the churches in these special light. In Miraflores you'll have plenty of restaurants with Peruvian food in walking distance. The newly build Larcomar shopping center has also a couple of good dining options with ocean views from this massive cliff. Also in walking distance if you like.
"Make your business trip enjoyable!"
The Hilton Miraflores makes it possible! My business trip feels like a leisure experience. Great location, superb food, comfortable rooms, plenty of amenities and the best staff in the business!. The best in Lima!
Excellent Service! Highly Recommend. Waiter, doormen, and clerks helpful and polite. Note: Gym facilities could be better—no barbells. Otherwise, suitable for a standard dumbbell-based weightlifting workout.
"Mom's birthday celebration"
Excellent all around. Hotel is centrally located with great views, pool, excellent food, walking distance to restaurants/shopping/sightseeing/ocean, and the staff is fabulous and attentive!!! Especially Benjamin and Sergio!
"Somewhat of a nice hotel but Marriott is way better!"
I've stayed at plenty of five star hotels around the world. I choose Hilton for it's location, great reviews and beautiful decor. We choose this hotel for our return trip from Cusco to Lima. Although this hotel is very nice, the service is not up to par. Before arriving to the hotel, I e-mailed several times to arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel. Not once did I receive a response. Luckily, I was staying at the JW Marriott prior to leaving for Cusco and decided to walk over so that I could make the proper arrangements. Let me say when I e-mailed Marriott they responded immediately. The only thing that really sets this hotel a part from others is the rooftop pool. It has a beautiful view. However, if you're expecting to lounge with poolside service don't even bother. The server told us we had to come to the bar every single time to place an order for drinks but yet I saw him accommodating other couples who never had to leave their chairs. Lastly, my biggest pet peeve is if you're spending a lot of money for a nice stay one bottle of water could be complimentary. They do not offer free water or coffee! They suggested drinking the tap water but I'm sure that is the last thing you want to do while traveling abroad. So if you're really looking for a luxury experience just opt for JW Marriott. Yes Hilton is nice but Marriott's service is way better. Plus is also has beautiful views of the ocean and is literally across the mall with many great restaurants.
