I have Diamond Hilton Honors so get upgraded every time I stay here (stayed from April 2016 to January 2017 at least 3 nights a week). Some of the higher floors (6 and 7) offer stunning views across to the Albert Docks or across the city. Every room I have stayed in has been comfortable. The staff are excellent, at reception, in the ground floor bar and restaurant and also in the Executive Lounge. The lounge offers drinks and canapés in the evening (6pm until 8pm) and a buffet breakfast away from the more busy restaurant. The lovely hostess Edyta spoils us all with her welcoming smile and keeps the wine and beers flowing! It feels like a second home and I'm sure you'll enjoy staying here on a business trip, a romantic stay or for somewhere to sleep after a Liverpool/Everton home game. Note that prices can go through the roof when it's a midweek home match so check the fixture lists!
Great place great hotel but very disappointed with bathroom. Needed a Bottle of viakal and bleach. Great location and would definately go again but mayb a different hotel. Staff were lovely and helpful
"Afternoon tea - rude staff"
We had booked afternoon tea after receiving a voucher as a Christmas gift - the food was lovely, unfortunately the same cannot be said for our waiter. When we asked for milk and sugar for our coffee he glared at us, pulled his face and grabbed a half empty jug off another table and gave it to us. When we pointed this out he pulled his face again and only then brought fresh milk. At no point did he smile or respond when we thanked him! Not the type of service you expect at this type of hotel, very disappointing
I was there recently for a conference. In brief, I'm vegan, and there was literally NOTHING on the restaurant or bar menu which I could eat. Similarly there was relatively little on the breakfast menu. The kitchen staff were amazing in that they did make up some extra food. But, some (not all) of the staff around were not so helpful. They didn't know what vegan was, they told me some things I could eat which I couldn't etc. But really I'm surprised that there wasn't anything available without it having to be specifically requested. However, the reception staff were lovely. One there (Kat, a Trainee) was excellent in helping with some printing issues I was having, and going out of her way to resolve a mini-panic before I had to give a speech when I couldn't access the files I needed. Very impressed! It would've been a lower review but for her.
"Best Hotel in Liverpool "
Had another fantastic two night stay in the Hilton at Liverpool One. The rooms are extremely comfortable and you couldn't ask for a better central location; right beside the shops and only 5 minutes walk to great restaurants & bars on Castle Street. A special thanks to Kat on reception who gave us the same room where we got engaged a few years before, her informative and friendly manner really added to our fantastic stay. If you want great service, comfort and a good ambience then this is your hotel!
