"Best all expectations"
We arrived to celebrate a night away to London to celebrate my daughters ninth birthday. We had a fab greeting and a room upgrade then the team decorated the room with a cake. Such a wonderful stay will defi recommend and stay here again ...
This hotel is quite hard to find but the staff helpful and made sure we made it to this lovely hotel. Went for afternoon tea, gosh the staff amazing and the tea, coffee and sandwiches the same. Sadly very empty venue only one other couple in this area at the time, I guess I would have been nicer if others were there
Fabulous extensive breakfast, not often have I found such a choice of fruits. My companions tucked into a full English & the feedback was most positive, it really set us up well for a very busy day ahead.. We arrived late & yes it was a little difficult to find as street illuminations were poor around the canal & over the bridge but upon our arrival we were made so welcome & we were very grateful for upgrades to both rooms we had booked.
This hotel is modern, comfortable and the staff are extremely pleasant, rooms are well decorated and breakfast was varied to cater for all. We had one minor issue during our stay which was rectified with efficiency and professionalism by the Reception Manager Isfarhan (Izzy), was a pleasure to be deal with this guy, wish all staff in hotels were as polite and professional.
Very comfortable hotel with a spacious, comfortable and quiet room. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It's 5 min walk from Canary Wharf tube on the Jubilee line, and there are excellent shopping malls, again only 5min away. Travel by river is a little further-10min walk- but allows a great start to sightseeing travelling in along the river (Thames clippers RB1 service, calling at the Tower, Westminster and Tate Modern, amongst others). I'd also recommend the Everyman Cinema, Canary Wharf. There are also lots of places to eat nearby. Downsides- it can be a bit lonely at night walking back to the hotel when it's quiet, as it's located over a footbridge. I felt safe, but if you are travelling alone or prefer being in the heart of London, a busier location might suit better. Also, as its in the financial district commuter periods are very busy.
