"Nice hotel in a good area"
7-8 minute walk to Holland Park tube station, then 8 mins tube ride to Oxford circus. 5 mins walk to Westfield shopping centre. Hotel great, rooms good, helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. Gym adequate for most needs, Steam room and Sauna a bit dated. No feeling of threats around the hotel late on a night. It is in a very upmarket area.
"Front of house modern rooms need updated"
Stayed here for one night Fast effect check in Nice bar, decent food hotel prices Rooms 2026 very cold even with heating up full Surface of bath peeling off Staff good Would be a good hotel if the spent a few quid on the rooms Fairly priced
"Staff like caring angels"
I never generally expect much of a Hilton or any of the other big brand hotels. The rooms are all fairly standard, the foods alright, and they are generally just not that exciting. However... After the conference I was attending opened up the hospitality session and various delegates along with myself began a series of drinking games, there was every chance I wasn't going to make it back to my little Hilton room. Lost room keys (both of them), lost wallet (everything in it) and some light vomiting outside the conference venue (wasnt the only one!) with much of it down myself, I'm sure the last thing Hilton wanted was to let me in to their premises. Bless their wee cotton socks though, let me in they did. Spare keys, taken to my room and shown in (I think. I don't remember much to be honest) and a super comfy bed, rounded off with a nice, stodgy breakfast in the morning. If you're going to London and there's a chance you'll get inadvertently wrecked (where did all those wine bottles come from'') and are incapable of looking after yourself when smashed, Hilton Kensington is the place for you. :)
"Decent and good value"
For £75 per night I could not complain. The check in was easy, they changed room from a twin to a double room. The hotel is right near the tube and also westfield. The check out was easy and they immediately removed the £40 bar bill that some swine had signed for under my room number the night before. Lots of people around, and a slightly dark walk from tube station but for £75 it was exceptional. Got an uber to kensington for around £5.
"Very pleasant stay"
I read reviews for this hotel's rooms that were not so good. My experience was just the opposite. The room that we stayed on the 4th floor facing the main road with a view of the park was excellent. Renovated with very good (but small) mattress and a good size bathroom. The room was very clean with tea and coffee facilities, mini bar and safe box. The bathroom has all the basic toiletries. Breakfast is excellent and the restaurant is open until 1am, very convenient when you arrive late. Transportation is very convenient with bus stop just outside the front door of the hotel and tube station near by. All the staff are polite and helpful especially the Concierge who was really very helpful. As I worked in hotel industry for many years this is my professional opinion.
