One of London’s grandest Victorian hotels, Hilton London Paddington offers a fantastic location at Paddington Station. Just 15 minutes from Heathrow airport via the Heathrow Express and with four London Underground lines on the doorstep — Circle, Hammersmith & City, District, and Bakerloo — it remain one of the best-connected hotels in the capital.
Overall a good hotel to stay.Comment of P. Leong Hooi , Singapore the 2016-10-30
"Hilton Paddington Very good Stay"
Hotel is in good location with great access to Heathrow Express and the underground. Room we had (Queen suite) worked great for the three of us (2 adults/one child) as we had two bathrooms. Executive Lounge, although quite small, worked as well for breakfast and drinks before dinner. A few restaurants around the hotel within walking distance and taxi can take you to others quite close. Would stay again if in area.
"A Towering experience "
By that I mean, the GWR tower which offers upscale accommodations. The non tower rooms quality and comfort are well below those in the Tower. I don't stay in those rooms anymore. A bit run down and dingy. Excellent location for travelers coming from heathrow. Jump on the express and jump off at paddington and you are moments from the hotel! Restaurants in the area offer good selection but the many Lebanese/oriental options are wonderful. Just a short to Hyde park and Oxford street shopping. Mayfair is just a bit farther but very accessible on foot. Taxis are plentiful at all hours. There are better hotels if you want a "Pip, Pip, Cheerio" old school experience but none as convenient.
"Gross, terrible rooms, not worth it."
If you are looking for decent location and don't care if your room is stuffy old stains on the walls then go for this hotel. We stayed here for two nights on hilton honor points and were very disappointed.
"Hilton Honors - waste of time"
Booked a room months ago for £218. Checked in on line and offered a choice of room as HH member. Got to Hotel and we couldn't have the room we'd chosen some fault or other. Allocated an overheated broom cupboard with abysmal roof view. Could have booked on line the day before for £180. Hilton need to get their act together.
"Clean hotel, super convenient for train to London Heathrow"
Very clean hotel with lots of amenities. The rooms at the top floor with balconies have stunning views. Walking distance to Kensington Palace. Super convenient access to train for night stay before early flight out of London Heathrow.
