"Does what it says on the tin"
We booked an overnight stay to keep us relaxed prior to ourflight thus cutting down on needless travel hours and stress. The room was comfortable but I noticed that at other Hilton Hotels with the Queen Hilton deluxe suite there were a few little extras on ffer. I would have expected the fridge to be stocked and it was not, also I expected a newspaper deleivered but there was none and I believe that other hotels supply dressing gowns/slippers etc, these were also absent. A decent nights sleep was what we really wanted and although we were a little restless (perhaps due to the anticipated holiday) the bed was comfortable. I thought that Masons was a litle overpriced but the cost of this was allayed a little with the ofer of £40 worth of food and drink for an outlay of £30. You do have to apply for these discounts prior to arival so keep your eye on their web site. The transfer to terminal 2 was very good.
"The thing you want from an airport hotel is..."
...Is a good nights sleep. At this Hilton they have the great mattresses that you expect in a Hilton, so you're going to get a good nights sleep. The car parking while you're on holiday is well organised and the restaurant is OK. There's free wifi too. I don't think there's a better option at Manchester airport than the Hilton.
"Comfortable airport hotel"
Stayed for a night before a flight, it would be difficult to find fault with any particular aspect of this hotel, check in was fast, friendly and efficient. My room was comfortable and quiet. The airport shuttle was frequent and free whilst it was only a short walk to the rail and tram station.
"Lost car cigarette lighter"
After contacting the Hilton on numerous occasions and speaking to the manager about the missing car cigarette lighter I have recently tried to contact him again but he has not been back in touch with me . I don't no if he thinks I'm going to get fed up in the end I wouldn't use there park a ride service again and would not recommend it if things go missing out of your car . I no it's not Hilton hotel fault but it would be nice if the manager got back intouch .
"Average airport hotel"
When you are on a budget, this is your choice. I was thirsty when arrived so went looking after some soda. I found out the only place to buy some Coke is at the bar. That is, almost 4 quid for a small bottle. I think they could serve some free in the room or at least have a vending machine. People at the restaurant were friendly. Thanks!
