Great location close to DFO and shops, awesome food, would highly recommend the cafe in the Hilton, very good service and food was really good, comfortable rooms, not so friendly and helpful staff at reception. Ran out of 2 local beers at the bar on a Friday night, not impressed. First impressions usually last. Will not stay at the Hilton Melbourne again.
"Great location in the middle of the best Melbourne attractions"
Very impressive hotel with nicely settled rooms. A bit to modern on my choice, but offers very professional staff, plenty of parking space and all attributes to be named luxury. I like more old fashion hotels, but for a modern design this one is very good.
Great location. Hotel is very midern and up to date. Prices are on the expensive side but deals do become available. I love the view. Recommend city side as high up as possible. Will go back when opportunity presents
"Perfect!! No complaints"
Staff were super friendly and my room was neat, tidy and stylish. We had a fantastic view of the city and location was perfect being right on top of the convention centre and close to bars/restaurants along the water. Would stay again next visit no question!!!
This was my second business trip staying at the Hilton. It's a lovely top class hotel. The rooms are modern and well appointed. The blackout blinds are good but the gap under the door allows quite a bit of light in. Last time I stayed I had views up the river but this time the view of the DFO car park and the motorway which isn't as nice. The bed was comfortable but not as much as other luxury hotels in Melbourne. It wasn't cheap so overall value for money I have other preferences. Also to get free WiFi (which frankly should be included in a corporate rate anyway) I had to join the Hilton club and am now being spammed on a regular basis.
