"the best hotel"
used Hilton Brand Hotels for 21 Yrs. This is the best hotel I-I've ever stayed. Huge RM (3 TVs, 2 living rms, walk in closet), beautiful view, great location, delicious food (room service 24/7). Vip longe had all you can eat free breakfast and happy hour with free food and beverage and AAron the most wonderful waiter I have ever had. Abigail and the manager Giovanni at front desk were so helpful. Valet and concierge service is great. My stay at this hotel made this the best Vacation ever. Hope to return soon. Thank you
"Very good hotel "
This hotel is located near the historic center and between two metro stations. This location is very convenient and the atmosphere by the Alameda park is great!! The room at the 25th floor was huge and nice. The service from all hotel staff was welcoming and very good. I can recommend this hotel with all my heart.
"Highly Recommended for Its Central Location, Views, and Large Rooms"
I wanted a centrally-located hotel for my family's first trip to CDMX and the Hilton Mexico City Reforma fit the bill perfectly. Its location in Centro Historico made it easy to walk or talk a short ride anywhere in the city without losing time with long walks or traffic. The hotel was a great base for us to easily enjoy the city and retreat back to the hotel whenever we wanted to drop things off or relax without missing a beat. The large property provides room to breathe -- from the large and airy lobby to the outdoor pool and lounge area on the 6th floor to the robust fitness center to the healthy sized rooms and bathrooms. The four of us never felt cramped or overwhelmed in our quiet room (#1903) and the view of the park and Palacio was spectacular. The beds were comfortable as was the couch and two chairs in the room. A separate shower, tub, and toilet made for a large bathroom. And the regularly replenished free bottles of water came in handy during our stay. Our package included a free buffet breakfast every morning at Los Dones. The large mix of hot and cold international and Mexican food was impressive. There really wasn't any category of breakfast foods not covered in the spread. Nice coffee and hot chocolate and prompt service from the friendly wait staff made it a great way to start the morning. By the third day the staff knew our names -- something not very common for large chain hotels. The beauty of the hotel was the ability to remain inside a relatively quiet environment and then walk out the front door of the hotel and enjoy the electricity of the city. There was a book fair market as well as a weekend food and gifts market in the area adjacent to Alameda Park while we were there. The park itself was a beautiful area with lots of benches to sit on and paths to stroll. I checked in via the Hilton app hours before arriving at the hotel and was able to select my room before arriving -- a great feature that allowed me to find a room that gave us a view. When we got to the hotel all that was needed was an ID and a swipe of my credit card and we were off to our room. All done within five minutes. Lots of restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, and bakeries all within 1-3 blocks of the hotel so if you're itching to find a quick meal or snack it's easy to find. Highly recommend.
"One of the nicest hiltons "
We stayed here for the weekend on business and we were immediately upgraded to the executive floor with our gold status. The king room was clean, spacious with a beautiful view. Also air conditioned. Breakfast in the lounge was very nice, they offer scrambled eggs but u can have them make u a fresh omelet. They have fresh fruit, pastries, bread, juices, coffee, cappuccino. Also cold cereal and milk in addition to pancakes, sausage, bacon and quiche. The view from the lounge is stupendous. Free drinks every nite from 6-8 and more good food such as mini hamburgers, desserts, salads, chips and guacamole. Lionel our host was very nice. Try the gym here it is top notch, they have hot tubs, steam room, free lockers, showers and hair dryers. Very clean. The pool was also very modern. This hotel is steps away from avenue reforma. Plenty of shopping and restaurants right outside the front door. There is a beautiful park across the street in front of the hotel which we strolled thru every nite, it was very safe and filled with young lovers as well as families. When in Mexico City you must stay here you won't be disappointed.
"Good Hotel, Poorly Named"
This hotel is not really in Reforma but Alameda, a neighboring district and in many ways nicer. It sits next to a lovely park with street vendors and is great for strolling on weekend evenings. You have easy access to the Palace of Fine Arts which is the cultural center of the city, offering dance, concerts and art exhibits. It's also an easy walk to a number of other major museums, the historic center of the city and the metropolitan cathedral. In other words, among the city's major hotels it is in just the right spot. The hotel itself is fine. Good rooms with typical Hilton beds. Bathrooms are nice. The suite had a full length tub with separate shower and two sinks. The view from the 25th floor was fantastic and high enough no noise issues. The gym is one of the best ever seen at any hotel with Cybex machines, free weights and a host of cardio equipment. The executive lounge was well-stocked with ample breakfast and happy hour items. The one real issue is the one restaurant open for dinner has a limited menu and is not very good. A disappointment after a long day of travel after which we did not want to go out. Service at the hotel was first rate. Requests were met with the drop of a hat.
