"Room I booked 9months ago unavailable at check in."
Under construction. Not a bad hotel, just wanted them to have the room I booked available at check-in. Also waited almost 40 min for shuttle at airport, even though it is supposed to circle every 20 min.
We were extremely impressed with this hotel, very clean, gorgeous views, the grounds are very nice and well kept. We saw a large Iguana and a couple of lizards out on the little peninsula. There were lots of Jets ski's to watch. The staff was friendly and welcoming! The restaurant was nice, the food was good, especially the breakfast. There were so many choices and everything was freshly prepared. They even have an omelet bar and made to order egg station. We will definitely stay here again anytime we visit Miami.
"What A view."
We used the new digital key to skip the check-in desk. Great news for a tired traveler. Great views of the city and the airport from our room. The breakfast was quite a line but smooth. Why would a Gold member not qualify for the hot food' I'm not sure. Good food in this house.
"Pre cruise stay "
My husband and I stayed here once before and really enjoyed it so we returned with our family for a pre cruise stay. We returned for the beautiful pool and gardens. However, these areas were closed for a private event and my children were really disappointed. When we were offered compensation we were given breakfast vouchers. The lobby is also under construction. Our room was large, could use a refresh which I wouldn't have minded as much except we couldn't leave to swim.
"Miami airport Hilton 5*"
The 3rd time I've had a Day room & yet again a 5* experience. If they can do this for a day room imagine what they do for longer stays! The poolside food is basic but good & choice if drinks excellent. Sadly WiFi at the poolside is patchy
