"Good but easy areas for improvement"
The Hilton is well-located, and you can just about walk it from the Airport Express at Seoul Station if you know where you're going and don't have heavy bags. Most business meetings are a little way north, a short taxi ride away. The hotel looks fine but there are a few petty things that get in the way. Firstly, I think it's outrageous that instead of providing a toothbrush, they try to sell you one next to the minibar at W8,000 a pop; similarly you can't get a razor for free, but there's one they'll sell you for W20,000 or so. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth (particularly if you rebel and don't brush your teeth). Also, the WiFi was pretty dismal my first night there, and was not strong enough for me even to send a Word document through gmail until the second day. That said the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are a reasonable size and mine had a good view over the city. There are a couple of bars and restaurants, and (expensive but decent) room service.
"Great business hotel in Seoul"
Very much enjoy the hotel, the breakfast's are fantastic! Good location, easy access via airport bus or Aerex Express train. Staff very helpful. Executive lounge is nice, though selection of food could be greater.
"Nice Location, Enjoyable Stay in Seoul"
Spent 4 nights at this hotel recently with my wife. It was a smooth experience and we got a great help from the concierge for planning our sightseeing options. There is a lot of buzz in the hotel throughout the day (with lots of activities and potential dignitaries visiting - we had a day when Costa Rican president entourage was in the hotel). Rooms are very functional and in addition we had a great view of the Namsan tower right from the room. On the negative side, the restaurants close early and the food options are very pricey (being vegetarian, we had very few options and probably the first time ordering a $30+ nachos!) The staff is friendly, enthusiastic and eager to please. We had an access to the Executive lounge and enjoyed our breakfast and evening happy hours/snacks every day.
"Lovely stay and a nice walk up the hill"
I stayed for business with my office being close by. The walk up the Namsan hill across the road is a lovely walk and view of Seoul. There are a couple of restaurants across the road as well if you want to go for something close by. Namdaemun market is close as well. The executive lounge was great, with 2 different lounges to choose from. It was a short taxi ride away to places such as the Grand Palace, Insadong and Myeongdong. I think it is more convenient to take a taxi than the underground as the distance isn't far and the station is a little walk away.
This hotel is right across from the Seoul North Tower which is a very popular tourist destination (great views of the city from 800 feet above the city). The rooms were good sized, service was good and the lounge had very good breakfast. It's also close to the metro. It's a few blocks from the metro. We took the Seoul train from the airport then a 5 minute taxi ride to the hotel. Though this is an older hotel, it's been very well maintained and the rooms have been upgraded.
