"Great view "
The location is not the best because you have to come there by boat but that is kind of what Venice is about. Best hotel in Venice by for great for kids and any Travellers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.
"OK for Price and Needs"
Found a good deal on this hotel and only needed a pale to crash before taking a cruise pit of Venice. Hotel served purpose but I would not choose it if I was trying to sightsee in Venice. Hotel is large and has nice amenities (not luxury, but you can't expect that at this price point). Rooms were large and bathrooms were nicely decorated. Breakfast was ample and delciious, eggs cooked to order,e tc. But location of food in relation to dining room can be a turn off. Service was ok, although we had to go looking for a bell boy to help unload our taxi at arrival. Location si jot very good, you are far form all the sights and activities. Taking the shuttle to and from San Marco is a pain. So if you need an overnight stay, his hotel is OK, but if you want to sightsee around Venice, this is not a good location.
"Paper thin walls"
Stayed on third floor and you can hear absolutely every single thing in adjoining rooms. Could not sleep at all- and the staff did not offer anything reasonable to rectify the situation. Room had stains on the carpet, termperatire control did not work and drains were severely blocked.
I have loved this hotel since it opened, but had not been back for more than two years now. Things change all the time, but when we arrived back to the Molino Stucky, we were happy to find everything the way it should be. The hotel itself is amazing, the location great. Close to everything, but far enough from the tourist crowds. All of the staff are professional, friendly, efficient and make you feel at home. We arrived without our suitcases, the concierges Federica and Carlo kept in touch with the airport and helped in any way they could, we did not have to worry about anything. Besides, they will help you with all the usual business, directions, advice, bookings, help in general. The younger crowd at the reception has received excellent training, it was a joy to deal with them. We had a late flight out of Venice and although we could not get a late check out for our room since it was booked the same day, they proposed another courtesy room for the afternoon instead. The same goes for everybody else, at breakfast, in the spa, you name it. By the way, breakfast is one of the best Hilton breakfasts I know. I have always liked the fitness center, now it has been revamped and is even better. This is a true Grand Hotel. The people who work there let you feel you are welcome and that they enjoy what they are doing. It would be hard for us to stay anywhere else in Venice.
"Modern Spacious Hotel with Great Gym"
We stayed at the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel in Venice on Guidecca Island in mid November. The hotel is very modern and clean and the staff is fluent in English. The front desk offered us an opportunity to upgrade our room and use the Executive Dining room, which offers free breakfast in the morning and drinks/snacks in the evening. It was totally worth the additional price. There is a shuttle that takes you to and from the main island. At first, I thought staying across the canal would be a major inconvenience, but it turned out to be wonderful. We enjoyed the quick ride across the canal and got some great photos of the Venice skyline. Venice is always extremely crowded so it was nice to get away from all the chaos and recharge at our beautiful hotel. The gym equipment is fairly new with treadmills, bikes and elliptical machines to work off all the pasta and wine. It was never crowded. The hotel also arranged for local tours to Doge's Palace and St. Mark's as well as a water taxi to take us to the airport. Very efficient and friendly. Will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Venice.
