Hilton Munich Airport is the closest accommodation near Munich Airport. It can be reached by public transport, train, taxi or car very quickly. The Visitor Park at Munich Airport is an excellent way to spend pleasant moments before leaving. Munich city centre is just 40 minute far from the hotel and can be reached by S-Bahn train. Munich's main attractions, such as the German Museum, the Pinakotheken, the BMW World, the Bavarian National Museum are definitely worth a visit.
Wonderful, great location especially if you have an early flight. Rooms modern, beds very comfy. Amenities include the following sauna, whirlpool, pool, massage therapy available. Food was good and customer service was the best. Location...
"Very friendly staff"
Great location and hotel. Room very spacious - as diamond member had free access to mini bar and breakfast which was very nice. Only minor complaint was that there is no clock in the room, but that is minor. Will definitely stay here again!
"Everything an airport hotel should be"
Munich airport is the size of a small city, sitting in the centre is the Hilton Munich Airport hotel. It is a big hotel with a huge lobby and is a very impressive sight decorated with artwork. The hotel has plenty of facilities with a nice gym, meetings rooms are great for those who are looking to run large meetings they will find everything they need. The rooms are good, solidly put together and clean. The restaurant in the hotel is really good, and there are a number of supermarkets, cafes and bars around the airport. If you have a connecting flight or are looking for a meeting place this hotel fits the bill.
"Convenient and Clean"
The Hilton Munich Airport is in a fantastic location. It is easily walkable from the airport. That means, you have restaurants, grocery stores, and more within minutes and it's all walkable! The train system is easily accessible to take you wherever you want to go. Check-in was fast and efficient. ROOM (#1103) I was upgraded upon check-in due to my Diamond Status with Hilton. There is no concierge lounge at this Hilton (I'm told because Hilton took over the hotel from another brand), but the minibar in the room is complimentary to try and remedy the lack of a lounge. Upon entering the room there is a half bathroom with a sink and toilet. There is then a long hallway that takes you to the living room area. There are 3 large windows which is good for lighting, a sofa couch and chair with a coffee table, a desk and chair, round table with four chairs, TV and Bose radio, coffee maker, dresser, stocked mini fridge, and 5 available electrical outlets. The first thermostat is in this room. The bedroom portion has a door that can close off the room to the living room. There is a king bed and two nightstands, a TV, and another window. There is a second thermostat. Oddly, there are no available electrical outlets in the bedroom. There is then another door that closes off the bedroom to a closet area and another door on the other side the closes off to the bathroom. It's essentially a closet with doors on both sides. There is a folding table, iron and board, dresser shelves, hanger bar with hangers, and a safe to store your valuables. BATHROOM The bathroom is large. There is a stand-up shower and a separate bathtub. There is a large sink with lots of counter space, a toilet, weight scale, hairdryer, and 1 electrical outlet. BREAKFAST The breakfast was free for me due to my Diamond Status with Hilton. However, if the price is reasonable, I would definitely recommend it. They do made-to-order omelets and fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, hash browns, pancakes, French toast, deli meats and cheeses, a large variety of different breads and jellies, yogurts, fruits, waters, juices, and coffee. The food was all very good. RESTAURANT BAR I only ordered dessert at the restaurant bar. The prices seem high on the menu, but airport prices are usually high. For example, I remember seeing the schnitzel dinner which had 2 pieces of schnitzel, potatoes, and I believe zucchini, and it was 28 Euro. I ordered the apple strudel and it was 9 Euro. The hotel did have a few slight issues but not enough for me to knock the rating down. The furniture in the rooms is a little outdated but there is nothing wrong with it. There was no electrical outlet in the bedroom but it's not a deal breaker. The breakfast was phenomenal, it was nice the minibar was free to make up for the lack of a lounge, the employees were very accommodating, and the location doesn't get much better.
"Home away from Home"
This Hilton Hotel is superb in service and facility. The front desk staff is outstanding and more than helpful. The location is perfect for flying in and out of Munich. Had lunch and breakfast at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised at the quality...both were excellent.
