Hilton Munich Airport is the closest accommodation near Munich Airport. It can be reached by public transport, train, taxi or car very quickly. The Visitor Park at Munich Airport is an excellent way to spend pleasant moments before leaving. Munich city centre is just 40 minute far from the hotel and can be reached by S-Bahn train. Munich's main attractions, such as the German Museum, the Pinakotheken, the BMW World, the Bavarian National Museum are definitely worth a visit.
"5-star hotel connected to the Munich Airport!"
My wife and I had an overnight layover in Munich. The hotel is conveniently located next to the airport. There is a tunnel that connects the airport terminal to the hotel, so that inclement weather is not an issue. Their executive lounge was under renovation, but we were given complimentary access to the ample mini-bar. Our room was beautifully furnished, comfortable and clean. The staff provided professional and friendly service. The complimentary breakfast offered to my wife and I was absolutely excellent! We will definitely stay at this hotel again. One caveat: The airport is quite a distance away from central Munich and the taxi fares are on the high side.
"Rooms could use a remodeling"
As usual when departing from MUC in the morning we arrived at Hilton Munich Airport on the evening prior to the flight. It was our first stay since Hilton took over from Kempinski. Location of the hotel itself is good. Our room (standard room) could certainly use some remodeling, furniture appeared old or heavily used. Bathroom is outdated, the bath tub is hard to get into (and I am 188) and even harder to step out of. The appearance of the bathroom is definitely not would you would expect when booking a room at a Hilton hotel. Wasn't too much of a big deal as we only stayed for one night. Our room was the first when getting out of the elevator, hence it was quite noisy. Bar, lobby, etc. as well as check-in and our were flawless. Still our preferred location when traveling from MUC.
"Great Breakfast Buffet"
Stayed here at start and end of our ski trip. Room very comfortable with good Wi-Fi. Quiet, even though right next to the airport. Wonderful breakfast buffet with large range of hot and cold items. Only downside was the cost of an evening "meal" at the bar - over 50 euros for a bowl of soup, two salads and two small drinks. Better to go back into the airport and eat at AirBrau for half the price.
"Outstanding Service and Convenience"
Spent one night in this airport hotel prior to returning home after a three week tour of Austria and Germany in October, 2016. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a lovely large suite in a quiet area of the hotel. We were told there was a large conference going on, and our room location was changed so we would not be disturbed. We hung out in the bar for the evening and enjoyed a light dinner there also. Every employee we encountered in this hotel provided us with outstanding, polite service. I can't say enough how impressed we were. We are returning to Munich in October 2017 and already have our reservation. You could use this hotel as a home base for a quick tour of Munich--just use the airport train to go into the city. This is a GREAT hotel.
"Convenient and serviceable airport hotel"
Located within the airport precinct this hotel was convenient for a meeting with attendees from all over Europe. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel was perfectly adequate for our purpose but was a bit bland. Restaurant was nice enough as was the breakfast. The atrium area is huge but the common areas consequently lack charm.
